I'm definitely relieved he chose Auburn over Tennessee, considering Butch is building something up there.

The Gus bus is flying off the rails and KD just bought a ticket just in time for the wreck.

Darius Slayton really killed us this year. Same with Monty Adams, Carl Lawson, Dontavious Russell, Tray Matthews, Gabe Wright and Quan Bray the previous 4 years, etc.

Perfect timing to watch his future team get waxed by Bama at home and get throttled by a B1G team again in the bowl game to finish 6-6

Who do they have committed at QB in 2016? Did he really buy into Jeremy Johnson and Sean White

He got paid. His dad went to all of his Auburn visits but never once went to Athens. And I don't believe he even went on an OV to Auburn either.

He'd rather get paid now instead of getting paid in the NFL

Since Gus has been at AU

Sammy Coates= 2015 3rd round, 1 catch on the year for 11 yards
Quan Bray= 2015 Undrafted, 0 catches this season
Emory Blake= 2013 Undrafted, currently out of the NFL
Darwin Adams= 2011 Undrafted, currently out of the NFL
Duke Williams= projected 1st round pick, kicked off AU, will go undrafted as well

What happens when you block 1/2 the time and run a total of 3 route combinations. I guess he won't have to worry about that when he has an all new coaching staff in 2017

Should have let go of Kyle Davis along time ago. He enjoys the media game but he was never coming here. His own parent blasted our program to an AU insider and we still felt like we had a chance?

I have had him gone from my mind for a while. Thankfully, we have Terry Godwin and some good looking prospects of our own so we will be fine.

Davis has always been a long shot to UGA regardless of CB's, his dad was AU all the way. As someone said earlier, thankfully it was AU instead of UT...

When you have parents that involved and bashing other programs it's probably for the best that we find kids who want to be Dawgs.

It's actually surprising to me that with the hype Jacob Eason has gotten on a national level the last couple of years, 5-star wide receivers are not lining up to commit to UGA this year. Nate Craig? Binjimin Victor? Drake Davis? T.J. Chase - same high school as Aaron Murray for goodness sake!

Do others not find it strange that getting a quarterback who is arguably one of the two or three best in the nation is not drawing some franchise receivers?

Great QB's will make it work without great receivers. Just watch

Jacob Eason will get along with what we have and do big things. We don't need superstar headcases we just need a bunch of guys who can play.

It will probably take until after Eason's freshman year until we start to see the WR recruiting pick up.

The images of Hutson Mason and Greyson Lambert tossing up ducks and passing for 90 yards a game are what comes to mind in a top WR's mind when they think of UGA passing game.

It's crazy though even we had Aaron Murray throwing for 3,000 yards 4 straight years we were having to settle throwing to guys like Rantavious Wooten, McGowan, etc. Even Bennett and Conley were 3 stars.

Really only AJ, Marlon Brown, MM, and Godwin were "highly recruited" WR's

Perhaps. But they can do some amazing things with a receiver like AJ Green.

As bad as our WR recruiting has been, we've been blessed with unreal RB talent, so It's hard to complain

He is one player. Everyone freaked out when we lost Preston Williams to UT. R-E-L-A-X.

Based on your solid insider info?

Ha no man, the only "insider info" I have is a bunch of drunk old guys who probably don't really know anything. I just thought from the rivals article sounded, what was said on here before, and the whole timing of the announcement that he was more than likely gone. Plus yall know how we've been "closing" of late.
