Yeah that part came out of nowhere for me. Sounds like he is all Dawg at this point though.
sidenote: mecole's dad could pass as his brother. mecole's mother could pass as his grandmother.

Prepare for the cock thread proclaiming Spurrier's presser to be the turning point of the program.

Spurrier supposedly said he reminds him of Clowney. UGA wanted him for OLB like Zo Carter, Floyd, etc...he wanted to just be a DE. I hate losing out on his size and athleticism but I assume we just couldn't get him to buy into being an OLB?
Good luck to him except when he plays the Dawgs.

I don't think changing his mind was ever a huge priority.
UGA has been pretty locked in on Brian Burns and Xavier Kelly for a few months to go along with Manac.

Smith is damn good, and could very well be a thorn in our side a few years down the road, but with Manac in the fold and Burns extremely likely at this point, I can't say that I would put Smith above either of them.

In 2018 news (a little ridiculous, I admit) the #2 prospect in the nation, Zamire White, a RB out of NC, says UGA is his clear cut leader. RBU, bitches.
6'1" 202 lbs and he hasn't even started his sophomore year.

Mecole has ruled us out for an official visit? Not sure if I should be worried or not! Mainly hoping it's because he has been to Athens so many times it would be a waste of a free trip.

He's wearing a good number at a young age already. (#34)

He's not taking one to Tennessee either so I'm not as worried. It makes sense in my mind because he wants to get the value he should out of free recruiting trips. Hopefully he'll still make it here for the Bama game or something and we can pretty much treat it like an official.
