Big game tonight boys, we need to avoid coming out slow and hopefully we can slow down Ben Simmons. I hope Yante and Derek are ready to go tonight.

For the first time this season, I'm really not going to hold my breath on this one; I'm chalking this one up as a loss until proven otherwise.

KPG is going to have to play big for us tonight. He's our only player with a prayer of guarding Simmons. Kessler/Edwards are going to have to rebound much better than they have been as well.

Geno at 6'7" guarding 6'10" Simmons

We're reduced to hoping the white transfer from a community college in MS is going to guard a future lottery pick and that Kessler is going to do more than occupy space on the floor.

We so fukt.

I would guess that Edwards would be on him a lot too. He's a great player and he will get his and LSU is a good team but they aren't great. We may very well lose but let's not act like we are playing at Duke tonight. I think it will be a good game.

It mostly has to do with Simmons being the best player we've faced all year and it being on the road. Those two things combined make me less than optimistic

this. Plus, we went to LSU last year (seriously why again?) with a clearly better team than now and lost. Quarterman went for almost 30, and he's back, plus they added the best player in the country.

I mean I love our program but all signs point to this being a loss. However, this was basically chalked up as a loss before the season even started so it's not that big a deal, IMO.

Maybe, just once, Gaines, Frazier and Mann can all be on at the same time. I'm not worried about Maten

GEORGIA VS LSU SEC BASKETBALL Georgia plays solid def. they have some good athletic talent not a great shooting team they have better luck slashing it to the hole Maten is the go to guy 6-8 240 16pts 8 boards, also a lightening rod is JJ FRAZIER a little 5-10 150lb guard-he might want to go thru the buffet line twice, They are 4-3 in the sec The Tigers are 5-2-big game for both schools The LSU TIGERS have the best player on the court, a future NBA NUMBER 1 draft pick he leads the team in every STAT- But can he shoot from the outside? nope that's why they have HORNSBY, Victor does good in the middle as long as he doesn't get in foul trouble to many HORSES FOR THE TIGERS TAKE LSU -6 FOR 200 DOLLARS

Anyone want to start a game thread? I'm at a bar, but stupid Wisconsin and Indiana went to OT so I don't really know what's going on.

Shot 62.5% from the free throw line. We have to be better from there. It's so frustrating consistently struggling and being worse than our opponents from the line.

Also sucks when they go to the line twice as much. That game was fricked.

Something to think about that sucks, is if Georgia had a team that could hit foul shots then we would have won.

Can someone find our list of scholarship players vs. walk-ons? I can't find it anywhere.

I dont' have any idea, but with brandon young being awarded one before the season I would imagine that connor o'neill woudl be the only walk-on right? Looking at the 14 man roster I would assume everyone else but him has a scholly.

I believe this is correct (of the guys I have seen actually make it onto the court, anyway)

O'Neill is officially the only walk-on this year since Fox couldn't find anyone to take the 13th scholarship so he gave it to Young. So counting that one, Iduwe, Kessler and Parker we are essentially playing with 9 scholarships vs 13. That is a huge difference, really hurts this team.
