SEC released a statement basically saying the officials did everything right after the "Precision Timing system" malfunctioned.

Of course they did. Anything to deflect attention away from the constantly crappy job they do game after game. Frazier got mugged on one of the corner presses after he dribbled out of it and got no call. Idiots.

I never said we couldn't pull an elite recruit. We have before. I don't think we need elite recruits to win, though. The 3-4 stars stay longer and that helps build a quality team. Fox has done much better recruiting.

Regardless, the recruiting is not his biggest issue.

that was never in question IMO. the whole situation was fricked, but you could see it coming. the problem is with the clock issue and the rules regarding how to handle that, not the officials today.

If they did everything right in that situation then the rule is terrible. Should have been side out with with 5.6 left to play.

Let's get back to how we were even in the position to lose by a clock malfunction despite a double digit lead late in the game.

Yeah I didn't think they did anything wrong at the time, but they should look into that rule, gotta be a better way to resolve that situation.

Mark Fox turned the ball over 4 possessions in a row. It's a dead horse by now.

Multiple sites had us as one of the last 4 teams in or first 2 or 3 teams out of the tourney going into yesterday. That road win would have been big for us. Afraid we will struggle to get enough wins to get in now even though our RPI and SOS should end up pretty solid. Very frustrating season.

That ranking will only get better after we get skullfricked twice by UK, handled by SC and drop another couple of games that we shouldn't.

RPI right now doesn't matter, especially when considering that it's not the end all be all of what gets us in the tourney. Our resume is about as mediocre as it can get and we're starting to rack up bad losses with no quality wins to balance them out; every bad loss we take on is another quality win we need to balance it out

No, losing to a 9-8 A&M team ranked 12th in conference was a good thing.

ETA: And then there's Oakland sitting at 132. May be a tourney team down the road but, for right now, it's a bad loss
