Interesting to see Bell back in the lineup at second with talley moved to 3rd. Sullivan back at first. Like Curry at catcher but interested to see the bats with Webber leading off at catcher and moody still in the lineup in right. King got moved down with the quickness

Jones sucking major dick so far. Dawgs down 3-0. Jones gave up a homer and 3 walks in the first. Already at 45 pitches in the 2nd

5-2 mercer in the 4th. Connor jones looked awful in his debut walking 5 and throwing 3 wild pitches. Walk on qb Sam Vaughn came in and saved the day in the 3rd with bases loaded and only one out, getting the double play. Drew moody now in pitching

Skyler Webber with a solo blast to right cuts the mercer lead to 5-3 in the top of the 5th

Still 5-3 mercer in the 6th. Bringing in 6'6 freshman Adam goodman to pitch and shift take Mike bell out, shiftin LJ Talley over to 2nd and subbing in Mitchell Webb at 3rd

Dawgs pitching staff has thrown 8 SOs tonight and caused mercer to strand 8.
But we give up a solo homer to their all American and were down 6-3.

Had McGovern at bat with Nichols on deck and bases loaded and we still couldn't buy a run. Frustrating. Bullpen has been decent which is nice but Connor jones fricked up big giving up 4 runs
