We are being overwhelmed here with summer practice info. Can some admin please do their job and organize this avalanche of non-stop intel? Thanks.

You downvoted me (then upvoted yourself), but I'm actually agreeing with you. I wish we were getting more intel so that it needed a compilation thread.
It's almost like Richt getting fired and them breaking ground on an IPF has taken away 85% of UGA posters talking points. Cricket fest and we're on Day 2 of fall camp.

It's not that at all. A number of posters quit this board over all the anchors and posts being deleted.

That's not what I'm talking about. Most of those have come back with their tails between their legs anyway. I'm talking about how "Fire richt" and "why don't we have an IPF" made up 85% of message board content. 85% is 85% whether you have 500 posters or 100.

Basic synopsis of critical info from 247 practice reports:
- Chubb participating fully in practice, but there hasn't been any contact yet. Still wearing brace
- Sony doing conditioning on the side
- Freshmen DLs are doing well
- Much is expected of Natrez Patrick
- OL L-R is Wynn, Sims, Kublanow, Gaillard, Pyke. Catalina getting reps at LT.
- TEs are really good.
- Too early to tell anything on QBs

What do you think of Kirby burning one of his practices as an open practice for fans? Great for fans, but shouldn't they be working on top secret game planning stuff to destroy opponents with instead of putting on an exhibition practice?

From what I read, the open practice is not about the fans. It's about putting the players in a situation with some added pressure to see how they respond. Especially some of the new players.

It's better than pool day.
In all seriousness, I doubt they're doing any specific game-planning until at least after the first scrimmage (probably next Saturday. They aren't even allowed to hit yet, so Saturday will still be fairly basic stuff and would be even if it wasn't open.

Well, either way we need to have GSB operatives broadcasting Live, from open exhibition practice to the board on Saturday. Specifically , we need to have someone monitor the number of reps each qb gets and which team they are working with. That's how you know who the starter is going to be.

Agreed. Ideally we could get some kind of completion chart also if they do 7on7 or go live.

I was being kind of tongue in cheek about the reps because I'm sure Kirby make it as equal as possible to avoid distraction possibilities, but it still will be fun to obsess over all the stats and details..
Should we assign each GSB operative in attendance a position group or just do a free-for-all?

Inclement weather has effected the first two practices. Will be nice next year when that will no longer be a problem.

Holy shite. The open exhibition practice is actually going to be held in Sanford. I don't know why but I assumed it would be anywhere else, but I may have to go now.
