Sat, Oct 3 Alabama GA loss Last 2 times we played them it was not pretty. Do not give me that shite about 5 seconds. If not for the blocked punt, the offense failed again

Know how I know you don't watch a lot of UGA football?

And you just can't take the previous years thing and apply it in certain games. You said USC has beaten us 4 out of the last 5 so that should be a win for them, but don't apply that at all for Tennessee. We may lose those games, but your reasoning is way off.

We should win against Tenn but

We beat then 35 - 32 last year.
We beat them 34 - 31 in over time in 2013.
In 2012 we won 51 - 44
in 2011 we won 20 - 12

Bet the house on the game. We are playing bama the week before and missouri the next week. Better pray we have a quarterback by then.

The purpose of this exercise is to cause discussion and get people on the record.

Ok, we are due against USCe, again, bet the house on that game. Just do not be surprised if we lose.

You're entitled to your opinion and you're playing the part of the eternal pessimist well. However, your reasoning is inconsistent. You put far too much stock in the previous years and performance and almost none in to actual personnel.

By your logic we shouldn't have beaten Mizzou last year because we lost to them the year before. We won 34-7.

We hadn't lost to Tech in 7 years so no way we could lost to them, right?

See where I'm going? It's like you're being pessimistic simply to be pessimistic. When you look at the players we have returning as well as the players others have returning, there's no reason to be pessimistic.

It seems your biggest issue is the unproven qb. You know who else have unproven qb's? South Carolina, Alabama, Auburn, and even Tennessee to an extent. You're not really taking in to account what other teams have and are simply writing our guys off because you assume richt will frick it up somehow.

I was really just joking that true UGA fans would know we blocked a kick, not a punt against Bama. Again, even though I disagree with your predictions I have no problem with you saying that. I just think your reasoning is off and I'm trying to help you understand why I think that.

For example, even though you have us beating Vandy you're reasoning is that we've almost lost two of the last 4 games including one loss. Vandy probably has the worst QB/OL situation in the league and their team isn't even close to being what it was a couple years ago. You have to take all of that into acct.

I don't bet, but I will be surprised as shite if we lose to USCe at home next season. We'll be seeking revenge and they have a shite ton more question marks than we do.

Tennessee - classic trap game and I think we lose - after beating bama in an epic one at home the week before. But, really ...

Its an opinion for what it is worth. If I knew what we would do,I would bet the house.

Last year we were 9 and 3 with a new quarterback. No bama, no LSU. Forget the bowl games. We lost to Ga Tech, Fla and USCe.

In 2014, with a new quarterback, we were 8 and 4. We lost to Clemson, Vandy, Missouri, auburn and Nebraska. But we are not counting bowl games.

In 2010, we were 6 and 6. We lost to USCe, South Carolina, Miss St, Colorado, Florida and auburn. We had a new quarterback. Oh yes we lost the bowl game to UCF which was a new low at GA. But we are not counting bowl games. We scored a magical 6 points in that game withe greatest OC at GA.

We had a new quarterback for 2 1/2 games. We also had a multitude of injuries that year. You have to look at all of the talent around, and not just one position. In 2010 our running backs were Caleb King and Washaun Ealey who both loved fumbling the ball at the goal line. Our best player was suspended 4 games as well, and our defense has much more talent on it now. If you always base things on previous seasons teams like Miss St. and Ole Miss would have won 6-7 games last year instead of both making NY6 bowls.

I agree with you completely on the QB issue though. It could be a rough season if we can't find anyone. I just think you should stick to that for the most part if you think we're going 6-6.

Why would you do that?We finished 10-3,top 10,beat 4 top 25 teams by an AVERAGE of 27 points...did this all with a new QB and losing 3/4 of our staring secondary and losing our best player for the majority of season.

That is a better assumption than assuming he won't. After all these are predictions, to not factor in the richt frickup possibilities would be naive. I know I did at 9 - 3.

I don't agree but 6-6 would be a complete screw the pooch disaster of a season and it might send Richty back to FSU as OC!

My pick is 10-2. I'm worried about everyone but the trip to UT bothers me, the Sister Kissers are almost due and Auburn will come out mad after that arse kicking we gave them between the hedges. If we lose to USCe then Richt needs to be hung from the stadium. Bama is always going to be tough with Saban there. We have the talent to win every damn game on the schedule. The coaching is a totally different story. I could easily see us going 9-3 also. Richt's annual bed shitting always comes at a bad time.
