Hope you guys are right. Unfortunately, the loss of Ferry is already being felt. Bud should have a chapter in his book called "How I parleyed the 16th overall pick into a backup shooting guard that doesn't play defense and has an attitude problem from one of the worst teams in the league".

I suspect a slip of about 10 wins and no home court and a possible round 1 exit, but I do think we will make the playoffs. Don't forget if Wall had not hurt his hand Washington would have beaten us fairly soundly.

We lost Carroll but got a couple of good players in the off season. We still retain the same core players, the ones that went to the all star game and Bud is still our coach.

We won't win 60 but we'll get a 2 or 3 seed with somewhere around 56 or 55 wins

Would we in the loaded west? I know we did well against the west in the regular season, but we weren't a great team after that long winning streak that occurred in January.

Progs I saw have us between 45-50 wins, which seems reasonable.

And here we go. Bud, never a head coach before, and now beginning his 3rd year he is also the GM. Combining both jobs is very difficult for even he most seasoned of coaches or GMs. To hand him both is severe overkill in my opinion and will not play well.

I would have said this prior to last night's L, but that is by far the rosiest prediction I have seen. I don't think the Hawks come close to 56 wins.

48 wins and a 5 seed is my guess.
