2005 SECCG on SECN the other night...

...reminded me how freaking good we really were that year...the D was ridiculous and Shockley and those receivers....wow
we beat the brakes off LSU right from the get go...and effectively used all three of our backs in that game...Lumpkin, Ware, and Brown...
it was fun to watch but also left me sad...wish we could dominate a worthy opponent like that again in the SECCG...
I miss some of those guys on D...

Well, I'm still trying to figure out WTH happened in the Sugar Bowl vs West Virginia with our defesne.

Willie probably figured it was an also-ran from a lesser conference and we could have our way with them playing in atlanta. We outscored them 35-10 after the first quarter, we just ended up spotting them too big of a lead.

We were clueless in the 1st half...LB's had no idea what was going on.
