I'm pretty sure it goes without saying but Wook is short for Wookiee. I first started hearing the term in the late 90s early 00s. However, I'm sure it was around before that.

Do you remember the place on College avenue that sold newspapers and magazines next to the 24 hour breakfast diner place?
Out front on the sidewalk is where the first wookie coven was spawned. They should put up one of those Georgia historic markers with the state seal to honor it.

I had a similar experience. I had been away from Athens for 7 months and was kind of pissed that this event wasn't a year earlier when I lived in the loft above Flanagans and Half Moon Pub. Would have been a great home base for that event.
Anyway, I stayed at my buddies house in Five Points and we got separated after several hours. I somehow managed to lose my wallet with all my cash and was starving my arse off. I begged a random dude to buy me a hot dog from the cart vendor. I too loaded it up with condiments. But mine never hit the ground. I was so famished (and high) that I tore into it like a rabid dog. My finger was under the bun and I damn near bit it off at the first joint. Gashed it real bad and had to walk around for the rest of the day with napkins wrapped around it and some electrical tape given to me by my buddy from Bloodkin who I happened to bump into at the side of the stage. He laughed his arse off and gave me some wings they had in the hospitality area. I smoked a joint with him and a few dudes and I left. Never found my other buddy and ended up walking back to his house on Pinecrest at the baseball field at about 3am.

I like to frick with bloodkin. Whenever at Ga Bar, right before I leave, I load up the jukebox with bloodkin songs. They hate that.

They were good dudes. I knew Paul aka "Crumpy" pretty good back then. Are they still around?

On stage at the fox celebrating his 70th bday too. Not that he planned it but what a way for him to go. Hate it for everyone on stage with him though, especially since they thought it was normal Bruce antics and they kept playing while he was slumped over a speaker

He died doing what he loved surrounded by all of the people that he loved. Hopefully we all will be half as lucky when our time comes. Time is Free.
