My first time going to Muster or a baseball game was the year after I graduated.

Those jacked up pickups can't tow for shite and are basically useless for hauling stuff. I don't know why a real Texan would like those.

The ones you need a step-ladder to get into? Yeah, who does? But I don't think that's what he was talking about. BTW, I thought Vicksburg had the redneck title locked up until I visited my hometown at Christmas:

A ton.

- never dunked my ring

- don't wear my ring unless it's an Aggie event

- no war hymn at my wedding; no Aggie cake either

- have been to about two Aggie football games since I graduated

Hell I don't know I'm loyal it just isn't my life.

It wouldn't be an animal. It would be:

The Texas State Generals

to appease those who didn't like the name change.

Cue the Texas as the Globetrotters joke.

In all honestly I think not turning into Texas State was probably done for reasons I wouldn't like, but the ends justify the means. As the biggest A&M left, we pretty much own "Aggies" which was once a very generic term.

I have an Aggie groomscake. We did the War Hymn at my wedding, my sister's wedding, & my BILs wedding. I dunked my ring with about 20 other Ags on a big arse trailer out in the country. I wear my Aggie ring almost daily. I've had season tickets in FB all but 1 year since graduating. I also go back for basketball & baseball.

PhilipMarlowe, on the other hand, despises CTs who don't enlist. So either he despises all of them (except the guys on scholarship who flunk out) or he hasn't a clue how the military works

I apologize for my terminology, but I feel like it was pretty clear that I was referring to the corps turds that don't end up serving in one of the branches of the military once they are finished with school.

Good one. Let's keep going then:

I never saw Acie Law play and I could have easily because that was my time. I sold the tickets I did get on ebay.

I went to more games in the visitor section than the student section as a student, maybe six total.

Never did Fish Camp or Elephant Walk.

Never been to a baseball game.

And the worst that beats all of yall:

I was the liberal opinion writer for The Battalion for years.

The ring dunking is just a reason for a party. I did it but the party is what people remeber.

But I wear my ring almost every day because it really saved my arse a few years ago down here in Austin.

It was perfectly clear. I was just having fun. Making fun of non-regs is what we do. It's SOP.

I love the Chicken

I never set foot in the silk stocking

I could shuffle my tennis shoe wearing feet around the hall of fame and Graham's well enough to get the phone number from any cute little female A&M student I wanted at the age of 17, but I never really knew how to 2 step or polka

I tried dipping skoal 1 time in 1981 and never again

That is completely cool Farmer1906. I appreciate the honesty. I can understand not liking me, I got a lot of that during my time writing for the Batt. Being honest is the whole point of the thread.

I will continue to appreciate your contributions and perspective if you don't mind.

Capped by federal law.

Even if the entire corps were qualified to enter service, only about 35-40% combined would be admitted.

Chipotle is infinitely better than Freebirds

The horse laugh is the gayest thing in all of college sports including Michael Sam's time at Mizzu

I've never watched the corps march in on gameday, inside or outside the stadium

I never voted in any campus elections as a student including yell leader

I hate Shiner

I was Red arse many times bordering on Dumb arse as a student...But, here are mine:

-I didn't go to the Corps because I didn't want to be ordered around by a D&Cer. Which led to my largest regret of my life by not serving. Infantry I feel was my calling, and I would have been happy to effectively deal out my country's foriegn policy to any frickhead who needed killing. But I digress.

-here's one I haven't seen yet. Yell Leaders. They frick up the game in my opinion. The crowd is too busy doing a yell rather than fricking yelling their asses of at a game.

-I enjoy the Chicken. I like a Freddy Burger with cheese and I love me some Tijauana Fries. But Dudley's is better.

-Northgate and it's bars, well, seems kind of pussyish to me. Mostly because I didn't have the choice of variety but I think they dilute an "Aggie Experience". Yes, I know I just shat upon the Yell Leaders, but my duplicity knows no bounds.

-I don't get the hatred for Baylor. I know they are scummy but they're Baylor and always will be.

Come at me, bro!
