I don't hang out in bars for the good odors. Most all college bars smell like arse, I wouldn't trust one that smells good

I have a friend who is a hardcore Aggie that didn't get in. We were supposed to be roommates and had planned on it since we were little. He would always come to games with my family growing up so we were fairly spoiled by all the winning in 80s and 90s and never really had to deal with seeing our boys lose in person all that often.
Anyway, he ended up at Colorado State and would still always come back for games as much as he could. However, since he wasn't able to get in they do little more than lose when he shows up. I shite you not, the Ags have won exactly one game in the last 20 years of games that he has been to. Its something ridiculous like 1 win against 25+ losses.
Dude is straight up the the worst luck ever but I can't help but always invite him b/c he's been my best friend since the 3rd grade.

You don't understand, the Chicken really smells. There are bars that have areas that smell terrible (Like The Corner's stairwell or O'Bannons lounge nearest the restroom), but the chicken just smells everywhere in its lounge. That place reeks, even for college bar standards.

He was at Auburn this year. He wanted to bitch about Spav all night after the game but I successfully pivoted the conversation to how they never ever win when he shows up. So instead of him getting to vent about Spav he was stuck being on the defensive all night. Even his own sister started to agree that he should never come back.

I sat in the handicapped seats once and got to sit down when I was a student. Front row upper deck 50 yard line. Great seats. I had to fake a limp to get them. I'm almost ashamed.
Just to be clear, there were empty seats around me, but still...I was a 2 percenter at best. It was a long time ago and I have reformed.

PhilipMarlowe, on the other hand, despises CTs who don't enlist. So either he despises all of them (except the guys on scholarship who flunk out) or he hasn't a clue how the military works. Either way...
And he doesn't like pickup trucks, which almost certainly means he hates puppies. He's most likely a terrorist.

I thought that was a joke, but all my Aggie inlaws love the stuff. They drink Corona too though (bleh).

Prior to 2009, there was no student loan repayment option nor was there a bonus for an OCS candidate.
However, there was an option for a college graduate to enlist for 6 years, get a $20,000+ bonus AND student loan repayment. Don't underestimate how many take that deal.

I only went to the Chicken because Don was a family friend and he'd cash checks for me or when one of my cousins was working her way thru school and cooked there I'd eat for free.

I admire PhilipMarlowe for being honest. Those jacked up pickups can't tow for shite and are basically useless for hauling stuff. I don't know why a real Texan would like those.
Here is my next great Aggie secret I think TBird shares:
I liked the TStar better than any logo we have had. I think bevel or not bevel ATM looks like shite on merchandise.
But understand why it's going away. TStar would have been the logo for a bizzaro university in College Station named Texas State.
