Why is basic Español such an effective gambit on tRant?

I know I'm not the only Texan who mixes in a little Spanish with my normal conversation. That comes out on tRant sometimes and it almost always throws someone for a loop

I don't mix in Spannish unless I'm drunk trying to talk to a Mexican waiter who speaks perfect English.

I think it'd be pretty funny if one of us started a topic and all of us responded in perfect Spanish.
That reminds me of the worst troll I ever had on TexAgs. This was bad, but I will tell y'all any way.
When Fuller was looking at going to the NFL his junior year, and we were all camping for Cotton Bowl tickets, I started a thread on TexAgs, saying that he brought donuts out and announced he was coming back. Four of my friends posted backing up the story. Obviously, that didn't go over well when people realized it was a troll.
The Aggieland Outfitters Twitter account even tweeted at Jeff Fuller, excited that he was returning.
But he decided to come back, and I credit myself for it. He saw how excited the people were.

I speak Spanish every day at work, just be careful that the Tigahs don't answer you in french

Spanish is a part of everyday life in The Great State, and tSECr is not the most tolerant group; so it's not entirely surprising.
Apparently their racial pejoratives are intended to insult our heritage of trailblazers and cultural variety.

After being born and raised in Tx with 3 years of high school spanish, I can only tell you a dozen or so words.

las gatitas de pantano son extremadamente daño a tope y con miedo porque nos secuestran a su coordinador defensivo y no había absolutamente nada que pudieran hacer al respecto, pero llorar a su ettuffee nutria.
