Sitting here at the Gaylord Opryland waiting to go into some hoity toity reception.

So far the 12MF has done a bang up job of giving mediocre instructions that conflict w/what on site staff has been told.

any of you fools gonna be at this shizzle tomizzy?

I would have rather been down there but thats where the 12MF blocked out rooms for the bowl.

I'll be downtown when we change hotels for NYE though.

This place is nice but... not really a fan of what a giant arse maze it is. The staff is nice enough but nobody knows shite about shite. The 12MF reception ended up being like a 30 second walk from our room but the staff is so clueless they had us walk around for over half an hour looking for it b/c they kept telling us to go to different locations. Hell, when we checked in the guy taking the car tried to send us to a completely different building on the property b/c he thought only UL people were at the section we are in.

Already ran into some TAMU folks down where I am which is close to Vandy

Problem with Opryland is it is too big now, reminds me of this

In the old days, dealers knew your name, what you drank, what you played. Today, it's like checkin' into an airport. And if you order room service, you're lucky if you get it by Thursday.

Flying out of Bush at 8:30 this morning. Staying at Sheraton again just around corner from Gaylord. Doing Monells for lunch, drinks at Gaylord bar before heading over to game. Wife has booked us at Kayne Prime tomorrow evening but nothing else planned.

A group of us are trying to sort out something for tomorrow night at Legends Corner. We will see...

Aside from the obvious jokes they put TAMU up at GAYlord that place is zoo huge and the service is terrible. It is like a tourist trap for the little old lady bus trips.
