7-5, largely due to offensive constipation. Sumlin canned.

Ls to UCLA, Arky, Bama, OM, LSU

UCLA - W, we always come out strong, we have a talent & coaching advantage

Prairie View A&M Panthers - W, we shouldn't even be playing them

Auburn Tigers - W, unless they've by some miracle found a QB. The visiting team always wins this series.

Arkansas Pigs - W, they lost their like 3 or 4 year starting QB, who was the only reason they have kept it close recently. They are at a talent disadvantage.

South Carolina Cocks - W, they are a shambles.

Tennessee Vols - L, We play them at Kyle and we suck at Kyle. This is around the time in the season where we always crumble.

Alabama Tide - L, they own us other than the fluke Johnny win.

New Mexico State - W, they are terrible.

Mississippi State - W, we beat them soundly last year, with Dak.

Ole Miss - L, until they get hit with sanctions they will have a talent advantage on us, and the game is at Kyle, where we have a home disadvantage.

UTSA - W, we shouldn't even be playing them

LSU - L, they own us, and the game is at Kyle, where we have a home disadvantage.

8 - 4 (4-4) before the bowl game. 9 - 4 after.

8-4. Still haven't lost to Ark, and keep trading off on the road with Auburn, so I think we get at least one of those.

Could see us winning both of those games, and going 9-3, but definitely not counting on it.

8-4 seems right. Would be 1.5 games over the Vegas win total, but still a bit underwhelming in year 5

10-2. Losses to Alabama and pick 'em from LSU, Ole Miss, UT, Arkansas. Hell, they finished 8-4 last year and we all thought the team was horrific. The team and/or coaching is better at every single position. 11-1 would not surprise me.

Or maybe I'm just a homer and they go 6-6.

Wins: Prairie View, UTSA, New Mexico State, at Mississippi State, at Auburn

Losses: at Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee

Tossup: Arkansas, at South Carolina (Sumlin has never beaten Muschamp in any way, shape, or form), UCLA (A&M has never won when playing the feature game on a Saturday pregame show)

Between 5-7 and 8-4

Question is: what does Sumlin need to win in order to not be fired?

I think he stays at 8-4. That won't be a pretty situation

7-5 with the possibility of 5-7 if we lose to auburn and arkansas. if we start the season 1-3 things will get really nasty fast, and i could see guys packing it in realizing sumlin is gone.

now, the most optimistic view i have is us winning 8 maybe 9 games. which would be another meh to decent season assuming we could add another win with the bowl game. not all that impressive when 2015 was supposed to be "THE" season. i refuse to allow the qb transfers and other missteps derail those initial expectations, because, while they do in fact change the projection, sumlin and staff were/are responsible for those outcomes.

8-4, losses to Bama, LSU, UT, Ole Miss. More of the same until I'm convinced otherwise.

9 and he's safe.

8 and I'd call it a toss up. A win vs LSU or Bama would go a long way if he only gets 8.

7 and we probably move on, if the money's right
