re: What is the latest with the note sent to Sumlin's wife?

First I just want to say that the way CS handled the whole thing in the worst way possible, and she most definitely had an agenda by posting it on social media like she did. She sees the writing on the wall and wants to make it more difficult for us to fire her husband. Think that's been covered in this and other threads already but wanted to get my two cents in here.

Now to the letter: there was a fairly quickly deleted thread a few days a go on Texags that a poster basically stated they (don't know if "they" is A&M leadership, the Sumlins, police, etc.) had figured out who it was and that it is the wife of a big donor. Speculation I know, but there's a thread on the outdoors board about it right now and a poster who used to be a mod during the whole M F Barnes fiasco (the first one I should say, now that there's been two events with that weirdo) is heavily hinting that it in fact is true. Some wife of a long time donor is the one who sent the letter and A&M is trying to distance itself right now from the accused party.

I'm not sure what to believe but I am inclined to believe it as when I first looked at the letter, I immediately thought it was written by a woman. Way too neat of handwriting and outside of one racial word, not near mean/rude enough to be written by a pissed off male. Would've been way more profanity plus specific example of how much sumlin had screwed up.

Don't forget that as soon as he was fired, he was hired as a HC again. His tenure at Texas was too short (no pun intended) and other programs knew he wasn't given the enough time.

Someone definitely didn't want him to succeed at Texas. It's one of the few times I actually thing race was a factor in firing him.

I actually think race was a factor in HIRING him in the first place. Think about it: your in-state "rival" hires its first black HC, and at the time, experiences immediate success on the big stage with the coach projecting a cool factor that's unmatched. So sippy, being the copycats they have always been, try to go out and get their own "brotha" to counteract the effect. Blew up in their face.

Strong was a prop.

1) a female poster on the politics board claims to have inside info that the FBI will actually pursue charges against Hillary (an idea that the politics board of texags touches themselves every night to)

2) people start to question where she got her info from. She's not an Aggie but claims to be dating one and that's why she's on texags and has over 4000 posts on it.

3) people start to get suspicious and go back through her post history where she posts info about herself including her name which her usnermae was an abbreviation of.

4) people find the real woman on LinkedIn (a Lindsey Delrigo, I think) and when she doesn't respond to people messaging her, someone gets the idea to check on MF Barnes' old stuff because the posting style seems to match up to the last time. Way over qualified with credentials and really elaborate backstories to explain everything the account was posting about. The find a photoshopped picture of him and two women in a picture and one of them is the real lindsey....

So in short: he built up another fake persona of a woman who works in the justice dept in DC. Then got outted because someone noticed he had shopped her into a random picture with him and another person. It's really scary that weirdos like him take a real persons identity and masquerade around as them.

Worst part is a former texags mod on a different board said it didn't surprise him, and when he actually talked to Barnes on the phone after the first big fiasco, he made it sound like he's got plenty of more socks lined up. It's a sick, twisted hobby of his.
