Good lord, the "Herman is a sure fire natty winner" thing is beyond ridiculous at this point. It's the most aggy thing that's ever aggyed

Herman will win a natty as head coach *somewhere* within the next decade, most likely much sooner. It's as sure as the sun coming up tomorrow. Denying that is the most aggy thing ever. I will stake a ban bet on it.

It's gold. Don't know why you want to deny it.

Say what you want about Notre Dame being overrated, this was a signature win for Texas.

They really aren't good. Their defense is still atrocious and Notre Dame's front 7 reminded me of ours in 13 and 14. Texas will go 8-4 IMO, maybe 7-5.

He very well might be gold, but nothing is a sure thing.

There are a lot of coaches that look great for a couple years but can't sustain a program, or wilt under the pressure of coaching for a blueblood. A lot of coaches look like can't miss prospects as OC/DC and can't manage both sides of the ball or run a program. A lot of coaches look amazing as the david but never quite get a grip of being goliath.

Well, consider the facts. He overreacts to the slightest issue and will never admit his reactions are premature. He believes anything he reads on the Internet or from some low level janitor at the MSC. Every time something bad happens, it's basically the end of our program's existence according to him. And he is more than willing to make shite up to prove a point.

I think Roger might be either one of our wives or Donald Trump.

Jumped the gun and hit enter on a story regarding a recruit that was wanting to flip to us while said recruit was still committed to another school. Kids took heat from coaches and friends and told everyone Brice was flat out lying.

Kid obviously was lying but Brice was the sacrificial lamb to Sumlin for texags to stay in good graces with the staff.

This was an employee named Jacob Kristen. Nobody really knows what happened to Brice.

I guess I'm missing the humor.

Texas is still favored to sign most of the highly recruits we covet in February. They are still almost certainly going to improve on their win total. And the media is absolutely still hyping them.

Nothing has changed other than ND being proven to be a bad team (which I alluded to in my OP). The win was big because it was Notre Dame in prime time in a thriller, not because ND was great.
