Wait, what happened to Brice? I haven't been to TexAgs in years.

Jumped the gun and hit enter on a story regarding a recruit that was wanting to flip to us while said recruit was still committed to another school. Kids took heat from coaches and friends and told everyone Brice was flat out lying.

Kid obviously was lying but Brice was the sacrificial lamb to Sumlin for texags to stay in good graces with the staff.

Dumbass. Sumlin doesn't need any help making PR gaffes.

There is way too much worrying about what the horns are doing.

What they do matters, but it's an extreme second to what we do (or, more frequently, what we fail to do). Probably more like 3rd or 4th now, behind what Bama and LSU do.

We control our own destiny, so to speak, and it's only a lack of our own coaching and our own recruiting that we have to blame.

I agree with Boxer in that we can both be relevant and successful and it's delusional to think the horns will never be good again

Although I think they are 3 years at least away from it, Chollie will not be successful there and the panic button is an overreaction

Good lord, the "Herman is a sure fire natty winner" thing is beyond ridiculous at this point. It's the most aggy thing that's ever aggyed.

Texas schedule is incredibly weak. They have four games left they could realistically lose if they play like this on offense all year. Even at 8-4, Texas will crush is in February if we only win 8 ourselves.

I have no idea why multiple people have said Texas' schedule is incredibly weak. They play 5 teams that are currently ranked this season and scheduled well OOC. It's also not like the Big 12 looks that much worse than the SEC. Outside of Bama, y'all, and us, everyone looked like a steaming pile of crap (w/ OM still to play).

This is a "The More You Know" moment for me. I visit there every day and generally listen to the morning show, and I had no idea. I thought he just found a better gig somewhere.

Without question, the going rate for wins should be no more than $500,000, but the rate has been over $600,000 the last two years.

I DEMAND performance equal to pay!!!

Something's gotta change. Either the salary or the win totals. I have no problem firing Sumlin's arse if he can't produce and refuses to take a huge pay cut. If he manages to win less than 10 games this season, he should get the boot or take a 50% pay cut, minimum.

Because we really, really don't like them, and it effects our judgement. I'm as guilty as anybody.

Not that this means anything yet, but Big12 was 7-3 this past weekend, SEC was 7-6 (6-5 against OOC) with OM still to play.

Don't blame you for that. I think it happens to everyone. I just thought Texas went out of their way to schedule well, especially considering how bad the Big 12 has been. Obviously a long way to go in the season, but no conference really stands out so far this season.

The Big 12 may have gone 7-3, but they went 1-2 against teams with a pulse. (I don't consider Mizzou as having a pulse.)

Because they have no realistic chance to lose to anyone other than OSU, OU, Baylor and TCU if they play like they did yesterday. And TCU looked like dogshit against an FCS team this weekend.

I mean, if y'all play like y'all did and teams continue their ways y'all have no chance to lose to anyone other than UT, Bama, OM, LSU, or Auburn. And UT almost lost to App State and LSU is about to be in complete disarray. I think Texas has a far tougher schedule than anyone in the SEC East for sure, and it's relatively comparable to a couple West teams.

I disagree, Texas plays nobody as good as Bama and OM (at least based on what we have seen thus far) and nobody as talented as LSU.

I definitely agree with all of that. They don't have those certain losses on the schedule, but when we look back at SOS at the end of the season I am willing to bet they have a top 25 schedule. It's just not SEC West caliber. I mentioned this in a thread on the SEC Rant, but I think the Big 12 is better than the East.
