It only took him 5 seasons...but Kennedy finally passed BILLY GILLISPIE'S 31 conference wins when he beat Mississippi State.
Only two more conference wins to beat Mark Turgeon's FOUR-YEAR mark in year five.

Kennedy is a slightly worse version of Rick Barnes. This team y'all currently have has such a ridiculous amount of talent, and he's completely squandering it. Needs to be gone after this season if y'all don't make the Sweet 16.

This is so weird, when we were doing well, Billy Kennedy had nothing to do with it. Now he's the sole reason for our problems? How did he gain such power over the team in such a short period

We were doing well because we had some new pieces to work with that opponents were having difficulty gameplanning for. That, and the young bucks were meshing pretty synergistically with our upperclassmen. However, we still had flaws (RE: Those troubling little scoring droughts like what bit us in the championship game in Atlantis), we were just talenting our way through them to W's.
Fast forward to today, and not only is the team a known commodity, we're also a measuring stick that's going to get most opponents' best shot. THAT is where coaching has to come in and throw some wrinkles in your shite to keep opponents from keying on what you do well. Kennedy hasn't done that--just keeps throwing out the same bullshite "offense" that he always does, except now it's not surprising anyone and we're amassing L's.
