Just when I thought I couldn't be more embarrassed to be an Aggie this season, someone had to go do this shite

He lives in Indian Lakes. I don't know the exact house, but it probably wouldn't be hard to find out. Someone could have easily dropped the letter in his mailbox without actually mailing it. So that would get around it being postmarked.
As great as many Aggies are, you can take any group of individuals and there will always be shitheads. Sorry gentleman, but there's a very real chance some piece of shite Aggie wrote this and dropped it in his mailbox personally.

Football losses will never make me embarrassed of my school, and neither does this letter. I know the values that A&M teaches and embraces, better than almost every place in the nation, and this letter doesn't represent those values. Some old lady on psychotropic drugs writing a letter doesn't give me any embarrassment.

I guess I should have said embarrassed to be an Aggie fan. I'll never be ashamed of my school, but I am ashamed of our football team. I'll never stop wearing my ring, but I sure as hell didn't wear my A&M polo today which is a typical Friday thing for me during the fall. I didn't wear the A&M tshirt I packed for my flight home from LA either. I don't want a bunch of random strangers pitying me while I travel home.

I guess I'm just different. I wore an Aggie polo Monday and yesterday. I don't care about strangers pitying me over a football game. I'm proud of my school regardless of what strangers think about the football program.

Idk man, maybe I'm just more butthurt over it because I went to the game. But this season is over.

Yeah the season is over, but we can still play the roll of spoiler a time or two.

Don't know how to link it so I thought I would just repost what I said in the main Rant thread early this morning.
..............................................
It seems fake to me as well. A real racist would have said some really vile stuff and elaborated a bit on the threat.
I would suspect it is someone connected with that other school in Texas. You know, the same fricktards that did this...
This is the kind of hair brained shite they do. Then again, it could be some kind of nutcase that supports A&M in his/her own fricked up way. Every school has its own version of a tree murderer somewhere in their fanbase.

The letter folded is larger than envelope.
I've seen this repeated by several people, and it's just wrong. Save the image to your HD, open in your favorite image editor, shift the envelope up. What do you know? It fits.

The postage stamp isn't post marked. It's possible, certainly, but very improbably it ever went through the mail.
I don't think this is all that unusual. Who put the barcode on there? I doubt it was Charlene Sumlin!

Barcodes are preprinted on envelopes for mass mailers like businesses and public entities. It could have also been a legit envelope they received and the note not be legit.
It appears larger than the envelope, which is completely subjective. Moving it in photoshop is equally as inaccurate as looking at the original image.

Like I said in my original post, none of the issues are deal breakers on their own. There is no smoking gun, it just feels off altogether.

It really isn't. I've received mail without it in the past (interestingly, it usually comes from Houston). Not common, but it happens.

Not only that, but the angle of the picture could be tricking some eyes.
I'm not even going to try to discredit something like this since it makes us look bad for even trying to. The sad truth about all this is that there are crazies out there who would so something like this, so I'm giving the Sumlins the benefit of the doubt.

Well, no. It really isn't. The surface appears flat or almost so, so an image editor isn't going to distort things. The envelope is tilted a bit relative to the letter, which may make someone think (incorrectly) that the letter won't fit. But it does fit, even with the tilted envelope. And besides, what would be the point of this? Get a legit-mailed envelope not associated with the letter and pair those together? How does that make sense even from a crazy woman?

The only thing that feels off to me is the letter isn't nasty enough for someone who would use that word - IF the writer is young. But really, it isn't THAT off for someone my age. Otherwise-rational idiots in my generation... well, my father's... would use that word as the ultimate insult in their mind.
Another common theme I've seen is "Why would she post this to the public?" I can easily see her being scared by this and looking for support. It's not something I'd have done, but I'm not a mom.

Boom. That's been in the back of my mind as well. There's no reason to speculate and at least one good reason not to.

Idgaf what it looks like that I'm speculating. It doesn't feel sincere to me. Just like Charlene dgaf about the backlash of posting it online.

This has Austin written all over it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Mrs. Herman or someone similar.
but, could be Charlene, too. Only people who stand to benefit from this are the Sumlins and our rivals. TAMU loses from this no matter how you slice it, no alum would be this stupid.
If I had to bet money, though, I would say Charlene. just sayin'

Considering the TexAgs poli board exists, I have little doubt this bullshite came from an Ag. Don't pretend our shite don't stink.

It can't be as bad as TD's Poli Board.
Is it?
