1. Do we need to fire Snyder?

2. Do we need to bench Kenny?

Yes to both, but I haven't seen much from allen in mop up duty. Maybe he will do better with the 1's. Snyder is def gone.

Absolutely.

Even the t-sips had enough sense to dump _iaz in mid-season.

Hill's lack of accuracy is killing us. That last third and one was an EASY conversion and he throws it a foot high.

Allen is more accurate than Hill from what I've seen.

I wonder if Kyler Murray wouldn't start right now.

We were discussing Allen over Hill with one of the athletic trainers last night. He said Allen sucks more than Hill

We really only have two QBs right now. If you hurt Allen on a flyer hoping he's more accurate well then we are royLly fricked if Kenny gets hurt.

I want to see Kyle but I don't know if it's the right thing.

1. Not sure that Snyder is the problem. You only get a limited number of scholarships. When you recruit the ridiculous numbers of offensive "skill position" players that we have been signing, you do not leave yourself much margin of error at the other positions.

2. I do see problems with Hill, in that lately he cannot hit the broad side of a barn. When he DOES hit a receiver, it is often with a bullet that is all but uncatchable. But is our other option any better? I do not know. And Hill was reasonably accurate earlier in the year. What happened? Was there some distraction that we are not seeing?

He had 2 horrible underthrows about 20 yards down the field.

Also, his high throws are going to get a receiver seriously injured. He is hanging guys out to dry.

He looks awful except when he takes off and runs.

No. His defense gave up only 21 points to a top 5 team. Our offense is supposed to be all-world, certainly good enough to overcome a 3 or even 5 touchdown deficit. Not saying Snyder's defense is airtight, but it shouldn't have to be given how we normally perform on offense.

Only if Allen is markedly better, which I'm not sure he is. Hill's lack of accuracy is a major concern.

the defense only gave up 21 and played well enough for the team to win yesterday

Also, he's been throwing behind receivers when they are open.

1. Yes. In basic fundamentals, I've seen no improvement over the last 3 years

2. Yes. My question is, is Spav limiting Kenny, or is Kenny limiting Spav?

Based on his struggles to complete some basic throws without overthrowing, underthrowing, or being generally inaccurate, I'd have to say it's the latter.

Although the plethora of instances where Hill and the WRs are on the wrong page looking at pass coverage? That's on Spav.

Good question.

Would you trust Kenny throwing 20 yards downfield against the Ole Miss secondary?

His innacuracy is shockingly bad. This isn't Arkansas where if he throws for 50% they are probably okay. Given the number of bubble screen type passes and numerous passes for less than 4-5 yards down the field, he should be throwing at a 75% clip. These aren't difficult throws for a good quarterback.

Last night in the 3rd there were a couple of plays in particular that got my attention.

One was a 10 yard out route that would have given us a first down. Our receiver took off faked inside, turned out and stopped on the Ole Miss sideline. Hill was looking at him the entire way. Corner bit on the inside fake and the receiver had 5 yards of separation. Hill didn't even throw the ball until the receiver had almost stopped. The ball should have been halfway there when the receiver turned out. The corner had time to get back and break it up. Pathetic.

They had a bubble screen for RSJ to the left. RSJ turned and the ball was thrown 2 yards behind him. He had to come back to catch the ball so now his momentum is going the wrong way. Ole Miss comes up and tackles him for a 1 yard gain. That play should have gone for 5 to 7 yards easy.

This kind of shite goes on all game long to some degree.

In my opinion, the Aggie coaches are probably limiting the offense because of Hill.

1) No. The defense is better this year than last. Not much more you can do with the state of our LB corps. A better question to ask is whether we need to make a change at the LB coach position like we did this year with the DB coach. How effective is the current position coach with recruiting? We need an influx of talent at LB just like we got at DL over the last 2 years.

2)No. This is what you get with a first year starter. He will be up and down. The best thing we can do is help him out with an effective running game. We tried to do that last night but our OL got whipped.

Hill has to get better at taking care of the ball. Both interceptions were bad decisions on where to throw the ball. The fumble was poor ball safety because he never tucked it after he took off.

Hill needs to work on his mechanics over the off season and hopefully Allen will make a real push for playing time. It would have been insane to throw Allen in last night against that defense with no running game. I hope we get to see Allen play the entire second half against ULM so we can see how he is progressing.
