Was running like a man on a mission. I am very impressed with his production thus far. He looks like he's in better shape and it shows with his speed. Obviously, he's not a burner, but he moves well for a 230 pounder.

Tonight
22 carries for 137 yards, 6.2 YPC plus one catch for 17.

For the season he now has 292 yards on 61 carries for 4.8 a carry.

He's a work horse, we really need him. Just wish he had a second gear but he is a hows regardless

Agreed. Looking forward to what things look like when White is healthy.

I like him. Dude's like a straight-6 pickup from back in the day though. Dependable, easy to work on, has good low-end torque to carry the load... but not a whole lot of top-end.

great stats on his end.

still frustrated that Spav doesn't look at 4.8 a carry and think that we should run a bit more. obviously Tra's a big dude and we don't need him doing 20+ a game, every game, but still, Spav needs to see that there's some benefits there.

Spav also doesn't look at the middle of the field and think "I should throw it there."

He's a solid rotation back, but he doesnt have the speed an agility to be a lone dog in this conference.

We desperately need a speed back.

This thread is not at all what I was expecting. Carson is an average player who had a subpar game. We need more from our RB position

Supposedly Keith ford is looking like a monster, and I like what Bussey brings to the table when he's 100%. Hopefully he has the burst back for next year.

Tra and James are solid, and I feel like James runs more violently. I agree neither is a game changer though.

White does two things significantly better than Carson - he finishes runs and he has a significantly better first step. Everyone wants to be loyal to Carson because he's a good guy and he does everything right. But he's a big problem with our run game at the moment.

Honestly I thought he was going to play this week. I believe he practiced some. Probably just didn't want him taking hits for another week

We more than over 6 a carry and ~140 a game?

Who was our last premier running back? I don't remember one recently.

Christine Michael may have been the most talented but didn't have the maturity or demeanor to do the little things. He could have been tGOAT. still holding him back in the NFL as well.

Cyrus gray was pretty salty.

Haven't had one in awhile and as long as we are an air raid team we won't get another. Stud bruiser up the middle backs who can run aren't coming to a pass first, second, and third team. The best we can hope for is a serviceable 2nd tier back who can break one every now and then.
