Jake Arrieta of the Cubs just no-hit the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine.

That's like twice in a week isn't it?

I think it's twice in 9 days. Last time that happened was to the '71 Reds.

The dodgers are such a head scratcher. All that talent and get no hit twice like that.

Crush Davis with a massive walkoff in the bottom of the 11th. O's have now won 2 outta the last 14, I think.

Just noticed that the Rangers are -24 on run differential, which is pretty amazing for a 7-games-over-.500-team.

Royals assured of a .500 season

(Before last year this would have been major cause for celebration )

What happened. Did y'all just hit a swoon at the wrong time or are there some injuries

Yeah we are a statistically schizo team. For the longest time we were crushing teams with winning records and losing to teams with losing records. We were terrible at home and awesome on the road. Some of this has started to even out but the run differential is strange. I guess when we lose we reeeeaaaallllyyyy lose

What happened? No real injuries to blame it on. Just a terrible swoon. Sub-par pitching and sub-par hitting, at the worst possible time. Just don't think we have enough bullets.

Spring is back. Yall fooked. 'stros dominated 8-0. McHugh got win # 15 and dropped his ERA down to 3.75. It was over 5 back in late July.

Crush Davis hit 2 more dingers last night. He's sittin on 40 HR's and 100 RBI's. Hope we can get him signed next year, but it will be tough.
If the O's get eliminated, then I'm pullin for the 'Stros all the way.

The pesky Twins are complicating things.
O's need a miracle, to say the least...
I'm disappointed, but they keep playing hard, even after a catastrophic stretch. From the day Buck took over in Baltimore, his teams have played to the last out every game.

That was a fun game to watch. It was sloppy but entertaining.
