He is. He is the bane of my baseball life. But tonight he is my starting pitcher so the Rangers have home field in the ws

My gracious, what kind of a career is Mike Trout going to have if he stays healthy? Stud city.

You're probably right. It only took 40 years to get to the first ws for the Rangers. Maybe won't take as long for the third appearance lol

Dude is a beast. Have no issue saying I really enjoy watching him play. Just wish he wasn't in the division

I feel so dirty rooting for the AL. I still find myself rooting for NL when no Astros are playing. I know I shouldn't for home field advantage, but its still tough.

That was my first time to see Chapman throw. Good lord! Did you see the guys in the AL dugout?

Looks like the 'stros are getting back on track. Won 3/4 including a series win over the Arlington Rangers.

Would be nice if the effing Angels would lose some games. They have been on absolute tear for several weeks now it seems like

I think the Angels are legit this year. Yall better hope they hit a swoon that lasts long enough to make it close though. I don't see them slowing down.

BTW did anybody see Matt Harrison get his first win last night since coming back from spinal fusion surgery. He looked really good doing it too. Couple that with Choo hitting for the cycle, it was an entertaining game.

They're won something crazy like 18 of their last 23. They'll come back to earth. Pujos won't keep it up and neither will their starting pitching. I still think the winner of the AL West will have under 90 wins.

'stros up 4-0 in the 6th. If they hang on, they take the series from the Sox. I have a friendly wager with my big from the NE. Who ever's team loses is beer bitch this weekend at the lake.

And the O's are back to a sub .500 team with back to back losses in Yankee Stadium. July has been horrific.

Stros trade away single A Daniel Mengden & Nottingham (plus hitter catcher) for Scott Kazmir.

How can you not love the stros rotation? 1-5 it's strong assuming rookies McCullers & Valesquez keep it up.

While it would have been nice to see an Ag like Mengden move up in the Astros organization, Kazmir is an excellent pickup. The Cypress native is currently ranked 5th in the AL in ERA. The only downside is that he is a free agent at the end of the season. Even so, this is not an expensive rental so kudos to the Astros front office.

Just a rental, but I could see Houston resigning him. I would guess he'd command ~5 yr, 70-80 million.

Suck it KC. So help me if they plunk another one of our guys, I'm driving to SA and punching bird in the ear then running away.

KC is the one that put spring out 6-8 weeks, hit Atulve, and threw at Gattis's head.
