Yep. Carlisle told him he is done, and to take the high road and spare him the humiliation, has tried to cover it up by saying his back is injured. But make no mistake, this is purely a head coaching decision

Old Man Riverwalk may not defeat Father Time, but he's damn sure taking him to OT.

What a performance by Duncan. Needed every bit of it

I felt like it was a stacked field. Jordan, Green, Gobert, or Davis would have been worhty too.

Davis was not worthy. He is tall and blocks some shots, but the Pels have an awful interior defense. You can't deny that. He will one day be an elite post defender, but he has a ways to go.

Good win for HOU. Methinks brooms are most certainly in order

Solid win for SA tonight as well.

Spurs are absolutely on fire! Hope they can keep it up. Love how Kawhi wins DPOY and then goes out and drops 32

If he keeps up that kind of production to go along with his defense, SA will be hard to beat.

I'm concerned that we are making Dallast look much better than they are.

HOU keeps finding a way, tho

Rox will raise their level of play in round 2. SA or LAC better be ready.

It helps when you have old man PGs who cannot stop any penitration. I hope McHale puts in arookie Nic Johnson to D up on JJ or whoever. Rox really need to work on big man rotating once Dwight goes to help / protect rim. Same thing happened to Dallas the first 3 games, especially games 1 and 2.

It doesn't have anything to do with the Rox defense IMO. This is exactly how the Mavs offense looked before the trade was made minus the ally oops to Wright. For whatever reason Rondo pretty much refused to correctly run the Mavs offense the vast majority of the time.

What makes it all the more frustrating is he actually could do it just fine when he gave a shite and was aggressive going to the hoop. Instead he had a hissy fit about not being allowed to pound the ball at the top of the key.

I'm looking forward to a SAS/HOU series. I just need SAS to hold up their end of the bargain.
