Texas Rangers here. Used to love sitting in the right field corner seats heckling guys like Paul O'neill and Eric Davis.

Which one of you SoBs up voted that?

You probably "like" it when somebody posts about a death in the family on Facebook.

I (probably poor use of) up voted your post because it played out identically for me. I sat alone in the dark unable to figure out what I'd just seen and how it happened. I was heartbroken. Still am.

It wasn't an up vote that it happened. It was paying respects for your loss.

I think the correct term would be Jordanless Championship(singular). He was there in '95. He just could get past Shaq & Penny.

Rockets are in fact the only Texas team to win a ship whilst Jordan was on the Bulls

So I am still not very happy about DeShields.

LINK

Do the Ranger fans expect him to stay up with the big club? If not they basically lose him for nothing kind of like the Astros did.

It's too bad they lost a first round pick via Rule 5 but he's not really that good. He wouldn't have gotten regular ABs at AA this year with Kemp there. They were already in a squeeze on the 40 man with having to DFA Presley

Nvm I forgot he switched to the OF last year. Still, there really wasn't space for him

Try being a Pirates fan, 20 seasons without a winning record.

I'm just waiting for them to trade away Mccutchen during the middle of the season if it is going bad.

McCutchen is a stud. He is really really fun to watch.

Astros all my life, although the move to the AL has dampened my fandom a bit.

And WCA, I'm old enough to actually remember when the Dodgers were the main rival of the 'Stros back when there were only two divisions and both teams were in the West Division of the NL.

Man I hated Tommy Lasorda and Steve Garvey when I was kid. Always kind of liked Ron Cey though. I ran a lot like him. Also, he was quite the singer:

Too lazy to look it up, but wasn't the Rockets' 2nd championship in Jordan's partial season?
