I'm not sure what I'm watching when I watch Curry play, but I've never seen anything like it.

You're watching the greatest individual season in the history of professional basketball.

His stats per 48 minutes and PER are so retarded I almost want to do the math myself because they don't look real.

It's like the guy woke up one day and just decided to be the best player in basketball. He has had such an odd career progression, just two years ago nobody would have ever guessed he'd be this good.

I saw some special stuff from him at Davidson. His scoring ability is obvious, but it's everything else about his game that is even more impressive. It's not just skills, but an ability to use those skills in ways that lead to W's.

There was this guy who averaged 50-25 in a season.

His PER is just shy of 33. THIRTY-THREE. And we're 40-something games into the season. He is averaging 43 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals per 48 minutes. A 6'3" PG is averaging nearly a triple double every 48 minutes. He's shooting 92% from the line and 45% from three, and has nearly 100 more made threes than the next closest guy.

LOL

Wilt Chamberlain was 7'2" in an era when most centers were about 6'8".
Imagine if Shaq played his entire career almost entirely against guys 6-7 inches shorter than him.

Oh, and Wilt's PER in that 50/25 season? 31.7

I'm old enough to have watched Wilt in his prime. Literally everything he got was from being physically superior.

He was a great player, but had his career started 15 years later he wouldn't be thought of as highly. He basically had one peer, Bill Russell.

Did they even record enough stats to accurately calculate per?

He's a fricking cheat code. You can take his avatar in NBA2K, push his ratings to 99s, and have a legitimate gripe when he misses circus shots from halfcourt, because he does it in real life all the time.

It's absurd. And then you put the pieces around him that he has, and it's unfair. Oh, and he has handles. Oh, and he can finish around the rim. Oh, and he's a great passer.

There's no defense for this dude on a team like this. Like I said on the MSB, the 2015-2016 Warriors have basically solved the game of basketball in its current iteration.

And I'm not even mad--Curry is a helluva lot of fun to watch and a good guy to root for

His handle is freakish. It's what makes it all go. And he's on the perfect team for him, but he plays the central role in making the team what it is.
Alas, it's a long long season. If the Spurs can stay healthy, I wouldn't bet against them.

Spurs and Warriors traded blowouts on each others' courts last season, too. Obviously the Dubs weren't the national phenomenon they are this year, but I still think SA can play with 'em under their normal conditions.

Play like they did last night, and they're not beating Charlotte, much less GS.

All he cares about is chatting with fans in the first row while his team gets waxed

We 3-0 with Smoove. This will be Howards first game back with Smoove. Expect alleys and yams all over The Marcus and Timmy's ghost.
