i dont expect us to win but ive still been pissed off this week at the lack of respect we're getting. -19.5 against the #6 team, that sounds unprecedented.

It's not... It's happened 4 times in modern history and each time the spread was covered.

Top-6 meetings last 30 yrs w/ line >2 TD:
'01 FLA v Ten L 34-32
96 Neb v CU W 17-12
94 Fla v Aub L 36-33
94 FSU v Neb W 18-16

Tenn was unhealthy BECAUSE of us

After their schedule and 3 weeks straight of emotional rollercoasters, losing to us was a pretty big let down... They clawed back against us because they felt invincible and like a team of destiny. Without that wind in their sails they limped into tuscaloosa, suddenly aware of their fragility.

Interesting. What about the same line on a top 10 matchup?

This can't be overstated.

The UT team that came into Kyle Field was a little banged up, but they didn't know when they were licked. Hence their frenzied, desperate comeback.

They left knowing the jig was up, and worse for wear besides. EVERYONE should have seen the Bama blowout coming for them.

We concussed three of their players, broke another guy's leg, had another leave with a knee or ankle injury, and got a guy kicked out for targeting. That's on top of them coming in banged up. And then they lost. Tennessee left with a broken body AND soul. I called them getting blow out by Bama as soon as our game was over. Look through my post history. It was the most obvious obvious call in college football history. You can't base much analysis on Alabama blowing Tennessee out. Tennessee from earlier in the season vs. Bama would have been a good game. I think Bama would have still won by a TD, but it wouldn't have been a blowout. Bama fans are high on the crack of beating Tennessee but it's not even crack they are smoking, it's bath salts, because Tennessee was a hollowed-out shell of a team.
