Those ugly arse apartments next to A.O. on the corner of Wellborn & G.B. are being torn down for the new underpass.

Didn't they burn down partially recently?

That is prime time real estate that has been trash for years and years. I am all for it.

I didnt know. It should have burned the whole complex with it. They are starting some early developments on Wellborn south of kyle. You would think it would be a developers dream because of the proximity to campus.

They gonna want stupid money for that land if they sell it.

What is the future of that McDonald's on George Bush? That place will always have a special place in my heart because I frequented that place many times my freshman year in the wee hours of the night after my night of partying at the Callaway House and Villas

Tell me about it. I think most likely it will be closed. The new underpass they just built was smaller in comparison to the work they will have to do on George Bush. Traffic there wont allow it. Also, whoever purchases that land will pay a lot of money but I dont think they will be able to use it until the project is complete. Ive heard it is going to be very large and complex.

I wish they would either create a tunnel for the RR tracks or just straight up reroute them so they no longer cut campus in half.

Too bad neither will ever happen due to the money required for such a project.

@ RC yeah but you know how big we are on "tradition". I think they should build a fancy structure around the tracks to symbolize all the times we were late to classes on West Campus because nobody wanted to drive all the way around Harvey Mitchell.....

screw the track's seniority

w/A&M clearly planning almost all expansion to be on West Campus they are going to have to do something about train tracks cutting right through what will be the eventual center of campus.

It looks like they're gonna do some improvements to the Wellborn and Villa Maria intersection.

You need to go check out the Southgate Apartments and that whole area around the Lincoln Center.
