Everyone but Bama, UK and maybe Vandy is upset with their head coach in some way. We are melting because if we beat one Mississippi team we are in a Sugar Bowl, but overall the SEC seems to have completely beaten the crap out of each other.

I am doing some of my best Rant work in a while and I don't even have my heart in it. If it wasn't for the fear of what Herman can do at Texas the big melt would probably make me feel more apathy about of our situation.

all of college football sucks this year. bama is winning it all despite a true freshman QB and less than impressive offense, yet he is being touted for the heisman.

And honestly part of me feels like an idiot for being scared of Herman because he kinda sucks too. I mean his team was fourth in their division this year. I just think it might suck for recruiting but I guess we will see.

no. its a down year because everyone has penciled in bama as the champs for several weeks now. the purported best league in the country cant even field a sugar bowl team with more than 9 wins.

Herman is what, 8-4 this year with his GOAT quarterback and a favorable schedule.

He doesn't recruit as well as people think.

He has "core values" just as Charlie did.

He is bringing a bunch of his UH assistants to Texas.

Does any of this sound familiar?? It sounds a lot like Sumlin and/or Charlie. Not to mention he can't stop kissing dudes, lost to a triple option team, and has not proven shite. They beat FSU last season, but it turns out FSU isn't that great right now so it's not that surprising.

He pulled in two 5 star players; Kyle Allen and Ed Oliver. Outside of that, he got a few 4 stars and all of them were offensive recruits. Nothing really impressive tbh. It will all come down to him hiring ace recruiters

Neither of those counts.

Didn't Ed Oliver follow his coach or brother to UH?

Kyle Allen, we know that story. Kid was looking to transfer and taking what he could get. Totally different than recruiting him out of HS, which Herman couldn't have ever done at UH.
