The 2 dumb plays by our Louisianimals (Wilson and Washington) put that game out of reach. You can get away with those plays if you where Crimson, but we haven't paid enough into the SEC Referees retirement fund yet.

I saw that substitution penalty and was going ape shite at the TV over the ref stopping play and directing a Bama player to get off the field bc they had 12
He was stopping play because if the offense substitutes, they have to give the defense a chance to sub as well. There were missed calls in the game (on both sides) but I keep seeing posters point to this one...it makes said poster look incredible ignorant of the rules TBH.

You clearly missed his look of utter dejection when they were flagged for it.

Go back to the play. He stopped play, looked to the Bama backfield and motioned for a Bama player to leave the field of play.
I'm aware of the rule to allow defense the opportunity to sub. IIRC there were NO Aggie subs entering the game after his stoppage. In fact, my first thought was that was what was happening. But I waited and no Aggie subs. Further, he never even looked in the direction of the Aggie D to see if they had any subs coming/going.
Say what you like, but if it wasn't blatant cheating, it sure gave off the impression that he was trying to prevent them receiving the penalty. When the flag was thrown, his head dropped in (what looked an awful lot like) failure.

It really wasn't. Had Kiffin not been an idiot in the redzone on the first two drives, the score is 41-14, not 33-14.
