We might need to start talking seeding instead of just a bid.

Agreed. Unless an absolute melt down, we should be in. Especially after this week

At what point do we start talking about maybe getting a top 4 seed?

Eh. We just got two top 50 OOC wins and one of those will be top 15. That's before we even talk about if we win tomorrow. I think we are set as long as we don't melt the shite down and have positioned ourselves nicely for a high seed

Hmmm. This is already shaping up to be an exciting season. It's been a while since we've been able to say that.

We get Kentucky and Vandy both at home. We might just win the conference at this rate.

Slow up a bit. Its a long season and I doubt our depth could handle a major injury that Kentucky would likely be able to play through.

Also, that Aussie kid on LSU is a friggin beast. They are going to upset some people just off of his play alone.

I fully expect us to make the tourney and did before the year, but I want to see more before we start talking about top 4 seed

We would need to win tomorrow against probably uconn and would then need to probably split Iowa state/baylor

We won a close game versus a top ten team because of free throws. Let that sink in.

Yeah, definitely possible. I'm not trying to be a wet blanket either, this team is talented and will be fun to watch all year

Obviously we won't be favored in every game, but UK is the only team that I really think outmatches is. Iowa state is going to be tough. I'm really not that worried about Baylor or Vanderbilt. Obviously there will be several losses but there aren't any I'd chalk up now.

Then again I may be more pro Kennedy than pat.

I really don't think opinions of Kennedy matter at this point. We saw him for four years already. I already know he's a below average coach. If he keeps Stansbury around and keeps recruiting like this I don't care though.

Nothing, not even a national title, will ever convince me Lennedy is a legitimately good basketball coach. He simply isn't. His Xs and Os are shite. We're just so talented it no longer matters much.

Basketball requires the least amount of quality coaching of any of the major sports. Some guys like Izzo do consistently get way more out of their teams than their talent should allow for. However, the fact is you can be GREAT in basketball with relatively poor coaching. I just never thought A&M would have that kind of talent. Yet somehow here we are.

We might legit be one of the 10 most talented teams in the country with this recruiting class combined with House and company.

The trained eye can still see our offensive scheme is bad. We are overcoming it with jump shooting and playmaking that we lacked in the past. Our half court sets are still terribly designed though and always will be, because that's what Kennedy does. We have over four years of data, it isn't changing.

It's like Sumlin, he'll never be a good Xs and Os guy no matter how many games he wins. Success doesn't change inherent flaws in an individual, it just makes them tolerable.

Yeah, it's crazy how we're overcoming all this awfulness with putting the ball in the basket a lot and recruiting great talent.

Seriously, just take a step back and listen to the things you say sometimes.

That being said he gets credit for getting the players, that's part of the game and he is SHOCKINGLY great at it.
