Super Regionals are Childress' ceiling.

Did this need its own thread? Could you at least wait until the series is over?

I feel like the only thing separating myself and CGSC as that when i want to type, my hands are too busy whacking it to holly michaels taking it up the poop shoot.

I'm surprised you're so level headed on this one, RK. UL is absolutely loaded with talent and they just lost to UCSB who had never been to a super before this year. This is the only sport where 4 seeds (equivalent to a 13-16 seed in basketball) can win the title and it is only mildly shocking.

Pretty much. I'm gonna be furious if we don't pull it out tonight but it would be hard to fault Childress unless there's just a string of mind numbing in game decisions. He's set us up to be successful year in and year out. I was a one time hater when we fell back to being a fairly mediocre team a few years ago but he righted the ship pretty quick

What mistakes did Childress make in game? I realize you have the emotions of an adolescent girl so this will be tough, but he doesn't field and play every position. If you want argue about our mental toughness that's probably fair at this point, but my stance hasn't changed

That is nonsense. These kids weren't alive in 88 or 89. They were in middle school when we took back to back losses to Rice in the supers. This had to do with this team and this team alone.
