Player ran practice and scrimmages started tonight.

Supposedly (via 247 poster with some kind of consistent access to the program, he posts practice info regularly... And Hamm)

Daylon dominated the OL 2's, didn't face 1's.

One of the freshman db's picked Kyle Allen

Kyler Murray looked awesome

Slim's speed is covering his lack of exp/technique

Both Justin's looked great (as we tend to do)

If Kyle can't keep from turning the ball over, I'd like us to start Kyler day 1.

It's a legitimate concern. Kyle has struggled with turnovers this offseason. He also threw a couple that should have been picked in the bowl game that weren't.

Kyler also is tGOAT and more ready than any true freshman ever.

Still think there isn't much of a chance he starts week one, even if he has a better fall. Week 2 on the other hand ????

Kyle was great considering

A. the experience he had (none)
B. how our receivers were struggling with routes, blocking, and bad hands
C. the offensive line issues
D. the caliber of competition he was facing

I expect a heisman for Kyle in 2016

And 2 heismans for Kyler in 2017,2018

Brandon Williams has been the fastest players on the team for the past 2 years but players are saying newcomer Jay Bradford might be faster

Not a lot of info out on last nights scrimmage yet, other than it was a short one bc of big conditioning day, and no INT's.

Harris, Williams, and Ellis Are starting at corner

Evans and Watts are starting at safety.

Brandon Williams is going to get drafted and be our #1 cb recruiting pitch for the next 2-3 years.

Very interesting. Good work. Our safety combo is so strong this year. I love both Watts and Justin. Keep us up-to-date por favor!

Brandon starting is more about him needing the reps than him being our 2nd best corner, but I'm drinking the koolaid on him as a corner, at least by midsession.

He has no idea what he's doing and apparently on the first night speedy was only to get a moment of space from him right after cuts.

His recovery speedy will be insane.

If Slim is balling like that right now, that's a good sign.

Have you heard anything about Harris this offseason? Is he thriving in chavis scheme? I've not been a fan of his while he's been here, to say the least, so any encouraging news would be welcome lol

So our basic defensive formation is:

Nickel?
3-3-5?
4-2-5?
3-2-6?

Also, from what I've been able to piece together, here are the numbers and changes since the spring:

5 - Daylon Mack
7 - Jake Hubenak
27 - Roney Elam
35 - Riley Garner
48 - Landis Durham
70 - Connor Lanfear
99 - James Lockhart

Don't know how Harris and Williams can both wear #1 on defense.
