sumlin gets to 9 or 10 wins, and we actually develop the talent over the off season

This is my hope. And his last chance I'm willing to give him.

Tonight was the first win of a very long and prosperous winning streak

If he can get 9 wins then he does deserve another season, but we can still lose to Miss st, auburn, and LSU so we still have a ways to go before we know if he’s coming back or not. Still need to shake the late October/November blues.

Tonight was a good win though, a grind it out, gutsy win.

The SEC is pretty weak this year though. Bama, Georgia, and everybody else.

Replace Mazzone (we won't), don't update buyout clause, don't change base pay, and I won't be furious.

We'll see. Offense only had 263 total yards and completed 8 passes.

Very LSUesque performance.

Basically my thought too. Give him “2 more years” but don’t increase the buyout so we can still fire him if we need to. Compensate that with performance bonuses (if we don’t already have them) like making the sec championship, winning it, CFB play off, natty.

Defense is becoming more and more of a game in/out strength.

Offense will come around under Sumlin with time.

We can win games like this.

I'm not that salty about Mazzone because there's only so much you can do with a true fish

Meh, there were at least 4 drops and Kirk's brain fart cost a TD on a very well designed play to the TE. There were also a few times where Mond locked in on one WR and never moved his eyes to see open guys. Things like that are on the players, not the play calls.
