Take it for what it's worth (not much), info likely vanishes once Sumlin is gone and everything turns over:

Positives:
- Nick Starkel actually looks pretty good, he's gonna throw some pucks but he's got the most lively arm our AD has seen since Reggie McNeal. He's not gonna underthrow any of his receivers. He's a lock to win the job.
- Roshauud Paul looks like a more athletic version of Macolm Kennedy, he'll be a four year contributor
- Ausbon is the best true freshman outside receiver A&M has ever had, he won't run by anyone but he catches EVERYTHING
- Starting OL looks much better than last year, could be a team strength if they stay healthy
- Zaycoven Henderson and Kingsley Keke are both gonna be picked in the first three rounds of the draft, one of the best DT combos out there
-RBs are gonnna be strong
- Fuller/Oliver is gonna be a good corner combo for a couple years, Willis won't hold off Fuller all year

Negatives:
- Our LBs aren't very good, and Hines is tiny
- DE play is horriawful, Clemons is just learning to play with his hand in the ground, Cunningham is a tweener who gets pushed around and Johnson is the definition of average at everything good at nothing. We basically have 5 guys on the roster prepared to play DE in the opener. It's by far our coaches' biggest concern.
- Ratley still can't catch
- FGs are gonna be a problem again
- We're gonna have trouble generating a pass rush
- Dayton Mack is probably never gonna do much more than he already has, he just doesn't have the body type and when he drops any weight to improve his endurance he loses his strength. Short arms too.
- Our depth overall is very unreliable

Awesome - thanks for sharing. Not debating at all; my eyes aren't there, but I've heard a couple of conflicting points:

* Jarrett Johnson having a strong camp (THamm, Twitter)
* Dodson also with a strong camp. (Chinpubes)

I know, I know - consider the source. I think we all know DE is going to be a challenge, but I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll see better LB play.

Our defense is gonna suck hard again I think. Ausbon reminds me of Anquan Boldin

Seems like we can move the ball and score but the defense will be 2013 levels of awfulness. Depends on how keke and zaycoven play and if the corners come through

I kind of figured we were screwed at DE when I saw the headline on texags that the guy who played safety (name escapes me right now) was now playing DE. I don't care how much you bulk up and add weight, that's not a good thing.

Report seems to match up with the few things I've read over there on premium (except way more shunshine pumping over there). I refuse to pay $12 a month for their stuff, but always pickup the 2 or 3 weeks for a dollar special they have just to see if anything has changed. It hasn't.

"The more I watch, the better I think they are"
"_____ player is really coming on strong and having a good camp"
"_____ player is hungry and looks great for a freshman"
"I'm buying in to what _____ position coach is doing this year with his guys"

Etc. but it's a good laugh for $1

That's a lot of positives. Roger wants us to know how terrible 8 wins would be this year.

not sure what you mean by "lively arm" cause kyle allen had as impressive an arm as any ive seen from an A&M QB.

Reggie could sling it faster, harder and longer than Kyle Allen. That is until Fran destroyed his shoulder running him in the option all the time. People forget that Reggie was primarily a passer because of what Fran did with him. Watch the '02 OU game again if it's on Youtube. And that's back when we had jack shite at WR.

Starker has incredible velocity and arm strength. His accuracy and decision making need work, but he can make every throw there is.

Me too, but his arms are too short. He's like a t-rex. All the opposing OL has to do is lock their arms out and he's finished. His only strength is his super quick first step, and he knows that, which is why he's always trying to jump the snap count, with mixed results.
