In standard Aggy fashion, we come out looking like a natty contender
UCLA - W

Free
Prairie View A&M - W

Our inevitable dive begins early this year. We get runover again by the Gus bus
@Auburn - L

I'll believe a loss to Arkie when I see it. We are to them as Tech was to us when they had Leach
(neutral)Arkansas Razorbacks - W

USCe will be awful
@South Carolina - W

Here's where the salt really starts.
Tennessee Volunteers - L

LOL
@Alabama - L

Free
New Mexico State - W

We could very well win this one actually, but I'm going with L for now
@Mississippi State Bulldogs - L

Out-talented, can't move the ball on them without JFF
Ole Miss Rebels - L

Free
UTSA Roadrunners - W

Until proven otherwise
LSU Tigers - L

6-6/7-5, with the flip game being MSU. This is just judging from what I saw in the bowl game. If Trevor Knight lights the world on fire somehow, we may sniff 9 wins. Otherwise, I don't know what magic we can create with what we got.

5-0 vs UTSA, PV, NMS, USC, MSU
3-3 or 2-4 vs UCLA, Ark, UT, OM, AUB, & LSU
0-1 vs BAMA

So 7 or 8 wins around .500 in conference. Another meh season.

In 4 years the road team has won every stinkin' time. I think this continues.

Tennessee Volunteers - L

UT I have no idea, but I do like playing them at home and fairly early.

Close enough for me to travel to easily, but I'll be damned if I'll sit through Clanga-Clanga again. No Dak, which is kind of a big deal. I think Aggies win this one.

I think Aggies get curb-stomped by Bama and Ole Miss again. frickLSU®. Could be the year, but our guys have to show it for me to believe it's a possibility. So 3 or 4 losses. 9-3 or 8-4.

Well, yeah. But Arky lost Brandon Allen and Chad Kelly is back at Ole Miss. He's clearly (in April) the best QB in the SEC.

Star recoever and 2 best defensive players are gone

Ole miss will be solid but no reason to expect them to beat us

You're right, of course. Pardon my BAS. So Ole Miss (third year in a row) and frickLSU® both upset Bama, Aggies beat Ole Miss and frickLSU®. We goin' to the 'ship!

I just don't see how we can do worse that last year. Every single part of our team should be improved. Except for kicker.

Add in our huge coaching upgrades and Garrett and dae dae being a year older......nasty

5-7 record. I think this season has the potential to be an absolute disaster with players straight up quitting on sumlin tbh.

Best case 7-5, they win 2 of 3 out of ucla, Arkansas and auburn. Currently I have them losing all three, but could see them going 1-2 giving them a 6-6 record.

So that puts my prediction between 5 to 7 wins, which is pathetic if that happens. Especially since this was supposed to be "THE" year before the qb debacle. I just hope the new ad is preparing for a new hire right now on the chance that decision has to be made at the end of the year, and I hope supporters are willing to make that move if the above scenario takes place.

I expected more negativity. I think the last two years have permanently jaded me. Not in a BAS way, just in a "I'll believe it when I see it" way.

If you meant to say "except for punter", then I agree. LaCamera has been doing well at kicking. Even if the punter is above average, he won't be as good as Kaser.

Regardless of who wins the QB spot I expect that to be the most improved position. Screw both of the quitters.

Defense should be better but LB still feels dicey to me. We'll see.

I absolutely do NOT expect "worse than last year". For that, see PhilipMarlowe's post.

I guess the overall point is, at least from the predictions so far, that we still won't be competing for an sec championship in year 5 for sumlin. And assuming he makes it to year 6 we lose talent and will have another inexperienced qb which doesn't bode well either. So yeah, personally I'm not very optimistic about the remaining tenure of Kevin sumlin' football program.

Here's an idea: How about we watch the 2016 season before we start wringing our hands about 2017? Can do?

Those predictions are with me having no clue on how good our new coaches are going to be (outside of Jim Turner who is pretty damn proven imo). If Mazzone gives our even an ounce of purpose, then who knows. IDK, we really should be better, but we're Aggy, and I'm going to need to see some proof first
