it's coming together but not quite grabbed me yet. I need to quit drinking before I watch because it's not the easiest shite to follow. May need to watch the first 3 episodes again

I think Vaughn is awkward. He's overacting more than anything. I like him in comedies but he's not my favorite here. The fewer soliloquys the better imo

I haven't started yet because my buddy with HBOgo is catching up with me and the misses from season 1.

Vince Vaughn overacting was easily my worst fear of this cast.

I seem to be enjoying way more than most. I also didn't think last year was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I think Vince is doing a great job. He's not killing it like the 2 guys last season, but he plays the over stressed, down on his luck, mod boss well. Now some of the writing here and there is just terrible. "He's half great white, half..." line made me want to puke in my mouth.

Now on to the details.

What was up with Riggins being watched by the old dude (was it his partner?). The gay twist was a nice twist. You could tell how hard it was for him to be around the other gay dudes. That may have been some over acting.

And if anyone is confused about what is going on with Vinci, google "vinci is vernon" to read about the real town this is based on. There seems to be a million articles out about it right now.

That's really interesting.

I bet those guys running their little fiefdom in Vernon are mad as hell at the shows producers right now.

So ummmmmmmm yeah.

This show has gone off the rails.

I just watched this week's episode I really don't even know what to say. I still have no idea what I'm supposed to think is going on.

Not sure this season is salvageable at this point but I'll keep watching just in case.

I don't see how they can fix it with so few episodes, but hey anything could happen

I guess I'm one of the few who likes this season. Don't get me wrong. There are plenty of flaws like how confusing things are, the writing, and why should care about some rich sex freak getting killed, but the characters have grown on me. I really enjoyed tonight's episode. The 2nd half has really left me wanting more at the end of each episode and I'm not talking about the shock value/ cliffhanger stuff like when Colin ferrel got shot early.

It is very confusing and doesn't define the supporting character roles well enough. Too many times I'm thinking, who is that again? Don;t even get me started on trying to remember everyone's name.

yeah, it's going for high brow but I think they went over the top on it. Oh well, the 2nd half of the season has been really good even if the first half was a cluster. I read somewhere that the ending was pretty epic so I'm still on board

Project Free TV cut off the last 10 minutes of the finale...worth searching for it?

Just to know the ending, yeah, but its nothing special. There was just way too much foreshadowing, you knew it wasn't going to end well. Then how they did it was a little "meh" too. I wanted some kind of payoff for all they were building cracking the case.

it's like Season 2 of the Wire. You build it all up and it probably wasn't terrible, especially vis a vis what else is actually on tv, but the storyline around Ziggy's fricking duck and the horrible acting by his cousin made you think the series lost it's edge. I'm hoping that's the case and like the Wire, TD comes out hard in S3 and we'll learn to appreciate the duck/redhead in time
