He has to be done at this point right? What a waste of talent

Texas A&M WR Speedy Noil turned himself in to College Station police today on marijuana possession charge, according to CSPD, less than 2 oz

We'll, at least he had a good run of staying out of trouble.

Weed will probably get him a bowl game suspension. His career at A&M ain't over.

I would think he's headed to an FCS program or "entering the draft"

Sadly not surprised at all. Not sure what the problem is/was but he really hasn't developed since he arrived in CS. Stuck in mediocrity.

Yeah, I doubt he's on the team after this.

meh.

Idk how talented he ever was. Athletic sure, for the most part but nothing eye popping. Fast? not really for a WR. His best attribute and only elite characteristic was his vertical but that's negated by his height.
Probably overpaid for him too. 5'10, 190 guys running 4.5 are literally a dime a dozen in LA. I'm not saying he wasn't a take, obviously he was, but he was never the 8th best player in the country.

essentially everything LSU fans tried to tell us when we were excited about getting him.

I can walk to ~5 pot stores from my house yet speedy gets busted for less than 2 ounces. What a stupid state of affairs.

You mean what they started saying after he committed to us? That's all they do. Something bad happens to them and they come up with why whatever happened isn't actually bad. We do it too, but damn they're the kings of it.

Yeah there was a huge sour grapes element too it, but they weren't wrong either.

The law is the law, don't get to pick and choose which ones are stupid and to not follow.

I would imagine speedy is done at A&M. A shame too as he hasn't done much during his time here.

He had a pretty good freshman year. Made some amazing catches. Hasn't lived up to the hype since then though.

That's what's so disappointing, he showed flashes of extreme talent. It just seemed like he never put in the effort to turn those flashes into consistent play...which makes sense with someone who smokes a lot of weed.

He had excellent body control and was very strong pound for pound. Could have been great after the catch if he wanted to be, was a great blocker when he actually tried. The talent was definitely there. I agree probably not 8th best player in the country but if he had worked hard he would have been one of the best WRs in the SEC
