They would refuse Natty light and move on to the next tailgate hoping to get something better. We purposely bought that shite beer to give out but Arkansas fans weren't having it

Like the bucket of off-brand candy for when the Mexican families roll through your neighborhood on Halloween?

Pretty much. Except Mexicans would take the beer if offered to them. Arkansas fans, as cheap as they are, don't frick with cheap beer.

Made the trip a few years ago and it was a great time. One of the best I have been on. Bars were great. Watched WVU beat Baylor during the day. Tailgating was fantastic and we had plenty of invites as we walked through the tents.

Peronally I would rather make the drive and weekend out of it in Arkansas. Nothing going on at or around Jerryworld. Just a stadium off the highway with a Pappadeaux and a crappy Texmex joint.

This is what I hear most of the time when people actually make the trip to Fayetteville. It is just hard for many in the SEC to make it so many write it off or have some preconceived notions that simply aren't true.

Glad you had a good time

Haven't made it to Fayetteville and haven't been through Arkansas since the 90's, but I remember a lot of really nice clean smaller towns that would surprise people who have a stereotypical view of Arkansas without actually seeing it. The plus side of missing out on some population booms is that a lot of older downtowns and residential neighborhoods are still there and still kept up.

Fayetteville is considered to be in Ozark country, correct? I've driven through Southern Mizzou and that area is beautiful... I'm sure it's the same deal in NW Arky.

Been to both venues to see the Ags play Arky.

Fayetteville is very nice and their fans are cool to hang out with. Enjoyed it up there.

But not as much as I enjoyed JerryWorld.

Jerry World is awesome. Fayetteville is awesome, but there is something special about playing in the stadium of America's Team.

Yea, it's something so awesome the game has never once come close to being sold out when held there.

Meh. Playing at UCLA wasn’t close to a sellout.

What does UCLA having a fanbase that can't fill their stadium have to do with Arkansas and JerryWorld?

Just to make the point that if its not a sellout that doesn't mean its not a successful scheduling endeavor.
