Some thoughts after watching today's semifinal games

1: It's shocking how much less aggressive and active our defense is. Every single defensive lineman for Clemson and Bama and Ohio State looked like their mother's lives depended on them getting penetration into the backfield every play. I mean just RELENTLESS, and that has nothing to do with talent.

2: Equally shocking/disturbing is how simplistic our offense is in comparison to what these teams do. Even Bama runs it out of a huge variety of formations with tons of motion and misdirection. Clemson's offense is a Swiss Army knife to our full box cutter.

3: Coaching demeanor...wow. Urban Meyer looked like he was literally going to strangle someone. Dabo Swinney burns more calories during those 4 hours than some of the players. Nick Saban losing his mind even on great plays when one guy does one thing wrong. He pulled a starting tackle for a play just to yell at him for a pre snap mistake. Can you IMAGINE Kevin Sumlin doing such things?
