So, do y'all think we can lure "Dale" Conte away from TCU?

This guy thinks he should be one of our top 3, and I can't disagree.
That dude has kicked arse at TCU, and deserves what we can pay him. Having been in the same conference as our chief recruiting competitor and local media sweetheart.
BTW, it's Chris Del Conte. Our favorite, arrogant, senile, retired t-sip AD heard his name for the first time and called him "Dale" when they first met to discuss TCU's entry into the Big Twatever.
Google and read Del Conte's recap of his meeting with DeLoss. It demonstrates his understanding of the burnt-orange arrogance and likely ability to navigate their shenanigans it trying to regain traction.
Which, is proof positive that motherfricker was the de facto Big 12 AD in the few years prior to and including the year of our departure from that flaming shite storm.

If we are going to hire someone for AD to see other people melt the obvious choice is Mack Brown.

Purely from a melt standpoint you are right. There are still a huge number of Mack fans that think it was a mistake to get rid of him.
