Jon Chavis (as a DC) has lost only 4 games in his entire career where his team has scored at least 30. He's 126-4. (source, jblaschke on TA)

In 2 of those losses A&M scored over 40. Chavis has only lost once where his team scored 40.

So we just have to manage to put up 30+ on Bama. Hopefully we get a little closer to that than last year.

I'll be in Vegas watching the game. Probably not going to touch it with my money. I'll have better luck at the craps table.

Bet against A&M so you have some extra gambling/stripper money. Worse case A&M wins and you don't give a frick about anything.

I was actually just thinking that. If we lose, some extra cash in the pocket as a consolation prize.

I think that was pretty much the main goal in bringing Chavis in, he doesn't even have to get us to a top 25 defense, just a halfway decent one that can hold opponents under 30 and let our offense do the scoring to win us games. Between all the 4 and 5 star talent we have on offense, I'd think we should average at least a touchdown per quarter so expecting at least 28 points a game isnt too much of a stretch.
