SECNation coming to A&M 10/17 (Bama game)

I would have thought this would be our potential College Gameday weekend, but I guess not.

It's SECNation. There are 13 weeks in the season and they don't repeat venues. We're the obvious best game in the SEC that week and our other 3 SEC home games are State, SC, and Auburn, none of which appear likely to be big games in the SEC landscape.

Yeah that's kind of disappointing. I was hoping we would get a gameday appearance this year just for some exposure for the new stadium and everything, but I doubt that happens now. Auburn seemed like a possibility before the year but I dunno now

I wouldn't rule it out. They hosted at the same location once last year I believe
But I think we'd both need to be undefeated because Gameday did Wisky/Bama and Bama/OM this week. If there is any reason not to, I think they'll avoid future Bama games

I'd say SEC Nation would just go to another school.
We would likely be top 10 or 12 at that point. Idk how Gameday would pass that up especially with the new stadium.

It seems like they usually goto schools that are on SECN that day which are usually not the best game of the week.

I think they just select so far in advance and don't repeat that it seems that way. Limits choices when you only go to conference games and can't repeat.
Week 1 they went to Arkansas vs UTEP but there were no conference games.
