If there's one thing I've learned, it's that firing your winningest coach is never a good decision.

Would be hilarious if we weren’t going to lose to them this season in spite of how bad they are.

Emotional decisions are bad.

Watch those banhammers. They'll come fast and hard tonight

I loathe and envy their standards at the same time.

Man we are stuck with Sumlin. If we were ever to crater and go 4-8 it would have been this year, but looks like we will at least make a bowl. We aren't lose-to-Troy-at-home bad, but make one bad decision and that could be us. I'd rather keep Sumlin than lose to fricking Troy.

Absolutely it's karma and the WHOLE frickING COUNTRY called this.
EVERYONE outside of LSU was like WTF are you firing your winningest coach, who brought you a Natty, who averaged 10 wins, who never lost to someone like Troy at home?!?!?
Meanwhile they were all like "oh Les is beneath us, we're mighty LSU, we're badass by nature, he's dragging us down."
You blind dipshits! Before Nick and Les you guys were a crappy team forever. You got totally owned by A&M for a decade and never amounted to shite! Goddamn! The arrogant, spoiled, blind bastards cut their own dicks off by firing Les!

Posted on 9/30/17 at 11:25 pm to Old Sarge
Why do you ask? You want to hire him?

Teams like auburn and LSU take risks and lose to Troy every now and then but they also win championships.

I still think getting rid of Les was necessary. But hiring O was a horrible move that completely negated it.
There is a reason no school has hired Les.

Is Les looking for work? He is 63 and has millions in the bank.

Former coach Les Miles, fired Sept. 25, 2016, made $4.3 million per year, and the school owes him a buyout of more than $9 million — paid in monthly installments over six years. The program saved $800,000 with Orgeron's salary, funds the school used on coordinators Dave Aranda and Matt Canada. The duo is set to make a combined $3.3 million this year, believed to be more than any other coordinator duo in college football.
