So does a slam dunk hire for them finally end the excuses for Kennedy's shitty coaching?

We shall see. Nothing gets our boosters spending $ like a good old Texas/A&M pissing match. If Texas makes noise with their next hire, we could very well start seeing our AD feel the pressure.

I highly doubt he is fired right now though , but it may be enough to set expectations of a Round 3/sweet sixteen tournament team or bust.

Yea that's what I'm hoping. Barring some major injuries, he has so much talent next year that he it'd actually be difficult to miss the tournament. But I expect us to grab a 9 or 10 seed and duck out in game 1 (probably by 15ish points). That shouldn't be enough to keep his job, but with our athletic dept that'll make him untouchable for 2-3 more years at minimum.

Now that Rick Barnes is the Tennessee coach, we can add another 1-2 to the loss column.

Space to transfer.

The Billy Kennedy revolving trap door continues.

Not surprising. He played minimal minutes last year, and it only projects to be less when the incoming class gets here. He should be eligible for immediate playing time since he is graduating this spring, right?

It's expected that Fitzgerald and Jahns will leave as well. Clearly those were "Turgeon's bad apples", right?

Space is graduating and can transfer wherever he wants and I imagine he actually wants to play.

The other two didn't get minutes this year either. We get it. You want Kennedy gone but this has absolutely nothing to do with that. It's incredibly normal post-season activity in hoops these days and given we signed 4 guys already, 2 have to go to make the numbers work. So it's not even unexpected in any way, shape or form.

Not everything is an excuse to rage about BK. But I'll give you props for actually using the reply button instead of starting a new thread

When your only tool's a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Graduate transfers usually help the player and the program, so I don't see the issue.

That's now at least 4 highly recruited players leaving the program due to lack of development.

Straight filthy. But WTF was Barnes doing? He ran away from Curry as soon as he saw CP3 go tumbling

But still, Curry

Terrible track record to have. I'm not sure how Billy Kennedy is still our coach.
