Let the facts be corrected. Michael Jeffery Jordan returned in 1994-95. In the playoffs he averaged 31.5 points shooting over 48%. He was still the same ole MJ. He just ran in to a uber talented Orlando team with Anfernee & Shaq. The same team that the Rockets swept.

I don't remember him as the same old Michael at all. He only played a partial season, right? Basically jumped right in after 2 years of baseball, with very little preparation. That caught up to him, and the team, in the playoffs. But the following year was definitely the same old Michael.

Just checked: he only played the last 17 games of the regular season + playoffs.

MJ career playoff #s
33.4
48.7% FG
6.4
5.7
28.6 PER

1994-95 #s
31.5
48.4% FG
6.5
4.5
24.8 PER

That excuse doesn't fly. MJ got beat by the team that got beat by the Rockets. Houston was better that year. Just ask the Malone, Barkley, Admiral, & Shaq. Dream beat all their asses that playoff run. Easily the toughest road ever to the title.

No doubt his stats were great, even more so because of the circumstances.

And I'm not trying to take anything away from the Rockets.

Naw, man. I was a Rocket fanatic growing up. Those were 2 fine teams. And you're right about that murderer's row that they navigated in '95.

Spurs one win away from the first round sweep thanks to 32 from the Kawhiet Riot.

Nice to see Dame and CJ get back to their old ways. Not much more painful than watching them brick open shot after open shot in LA.

How the hell are you supposed a team that shoots almost 60% from 3 and takes a shite ton of them. Unreal.

Look, we're not proud of it, ok?

All joking aside, though, props to MEM. They easily could have mailed it in, thugged it up, whatever. Played with some pride even though they knew they had no shot.

Curry out two weeks....

Warriors' path just got a little more interesting/treacherous.

Not really. Whether Curry plays or not their path ends with a loss to Houston.

Well that settles that, then.

So, how about this LAC/HOU matchup coming up, huh?

If it is anything like last year, it will be an instant classic.

The LAC choke job was probably second to only UNI vs A&M.
