Biggest strength: Depth in the 4th quarter. We are beating teams that are talent and scheme-wise our equals in the first half. We get to the 4th and their second string can't hang on with our second string. Our first string is better conditioned as well.

Biggest weakness: Miles Garrett's ankle.

Offense: we aren't going to outsmart anyone, and that's fine. Knight is the jack of all trades: he's got a good arm and can do the read option very well. He's going to derp a few times every game, sometimes it's going to hurt. But our offense just has to be decent, and it does what we need it to do when it counts.

Defense: You can't ask more from these guys. I loved how when we got up a few scores, Chief didn't go prevent, he brought the house. I felt sorry for Allen; you could see his face in the 4th, he did not want to be there anymore. I don't fault the secondary for the loose coverage in the first 3 quarters, we ran zone and sold out to stop the run, and it worked.

SP: damnit Kirk.

The fumble on the goaline wasn't all on him, he should get credit for catching the snap that was 9' in the air

We're a good team. Much improved on both sides of the ball.

I saw a little bit of 3rd and Chavis last night. Granted, some of those 3rd down conversions were just great catches.

3rd and Chavis is just bs, When teams are down in the 4th they play with everything they have. And defenses are tired. Arky has two really good recievers

Nothing has changed from this analysis. Word for word it's what happened this game, except Kirk didn't derp as hard.

Koda Martin was competent and Tabuyo is a playmaker who needs to see the field more often. The backup DEs looked much improved.

They also really worked Kirk out of the backfield and split Williams out to wide receiver, which could pay dividends down the road.

There was one play late where the wr dropped an easy pass that would have been a big gain. One look and it was #4 again.

Didn't even have to look. He's the worst.

Why has Jamal Jeffrey not seen much of the field again after being featured early in game one?

Jeffrey is a slot receiver. You have to pull Kirk off the field. Ratley and Tabuyo are Speedy's backups.

We are through the easy part of the schedule. Unfortunately, Knight and Mazzone shortcomings about to be made apparent.

Tabuyo is the backup. Ratley is the designated ball-dropper.

I am still not buying into this team being any different (for those of you who have not been paying attention to my constant BAS melting).

UCLA - Lost to a Stanford team that got MURDERED by Washington.

PVAMU - Yeah.

Auburn - The one "quality" win was a result of two coaches fighting for their jobs and Auburn happened to be the home team. They're suspect.

Arkansas - Beat TCU (in double OT), but this is not the TCU of late. Pretty weak. They haven't played anybody worth a crap, really, and beat La Tech by one point.

South Carolina - A team that has losses to Kentucky and a really bad Miss State team. We couldn't pull away. To be fair, that is the toughest defense we have faced to date.

But, here is the REAL kicker.

Tennessee is on borrowed time. They have been Auburn of 2013 lucky. Tennessee is vulnerable in many areas, and could easily be a 3-loss team. If we beat them, we may have STILL not proved anything.

I am afraid that we could beat Tenn and STILL have our traditional October SEC meltdown, with Bama on the schedule. Then we have Ole Miss, Miss State, and LSU.

We could lose out in SEC West play.

We must downplay the significance of a Tennessee win (assuming we can even get the win) and see how this team responds to a near-certain Alabama loss.

0 chance we lose to State even with an epic collapse.

Those evil bastards can't frick us over if we all expcct them to frick us over.

I remember 1993-1995, and particularly Colorado, 1995.

They will not feed of my meltdown and disappointment. I will NOT be disappointed. We will fricking lose like motherfricking motherfricker.
