289 rushing yards for the hogs. 2 consecutive 3 and outs in the 2nd half when the game was on the line.

BIG stop in OT.

Very happy with the overall stats. We certainly bent, but never broke.

Oh my god. The defense stepped up big time today.

the last 6 times Arkansas touched the ball they had a total of 92 yards and 0 points. If that ain't defense, I don't know what is.

And most importantly, when all Arkansas needed to do was run, what they do best, they flat couldn't. Defense won this game.

Not a fan of his, mostly due to the continued inability of our secondary to play disciplined football. The majority of our problems on defense are mental errors.

That being said, I LOVED his gamble on the last play to commit all 11 defenders to the run. Arkansas had a free play-action TD if they wanted, but with a lead in OT Snyder realized he could risk it and it won the game.

BOOM, motherfrickers! Awesome defense in the 2nd half.

One series of theirs I think Hog fans will be raising Hell about, and I would be, too. Maybe after we pulled within 7? They passed 6 straight times. WHY? 1 of 6. The 1 was a first down, but then 3 straight incompletions and a punt. That made no sense to me.

Our pass defense was actually pretty solid today outside of the busted play-action fakes. We forced Allen out of the pocket and forced a bunch of throw aways.

Before this game starts, if you told me we hold them to 28 points I give us a 95% chance of winning. Solid job by the D.

I was going to start a Mark Snyder thread if there wasn't one. I wanted to see the defense step up and stuff the run. They did an admirable job in the second half. The guy can coach defense.

Great job, coach!

92 yards on their final six possessions. The D stepped up.

I was screaming watch for the pass at the TV on that last play

Snyder wore down the Arky line inthe 4th. No penetration the whole game, and in the 4th quarter we started stuffing Collins when it counted. The Defense is a totally different unit this time around.

I Certainly wouldn't go that far. I'm cautiously optimistic moving forward.

I would like to at least watch one sec game where the ag secondary is disciplined enough to not allow a receiver to walk into the endzone.

The announcers were talking about defensive line depth.

It's really happening.

We had the pass covered too. Notice Deshazor hanging at the back. His key is the TE release. Matthews had the QB boot and would have had a sack on any play-action as well. It was 100% perfect textbook defense
