re: LSU fans suck sometimes

What you guys need to do is convince TexAgs to start an LSU sub-form for y'all like this one so that the reasonable LSU posters could all move over there the same way that the A&M fans who actually want to talk football all came here to get away from TexAgs.

I think LSU fans are frustrated because since we've joined the SEC (the modern era), their greatest accomplish has been beating us. That's why they fill so many threads with that point. If we beat them this year, their heads may explode.

That's funny if you think its true. We have accomplished more in the last 15 years than we had in the 50 years before that. I will acknowledge aTm is a good team and is a tough win. And I think losing Chavis is a big deal when it comes to playing spread teams so this year may be the year aTm wins. Eventually law of averages will work in your favor. LSU has won 60% of the time and I expect something similar in the next few years. We are both recruiting well and if we can figure out our QB and you can figure out defense no reason why we both can't compete for championships. But don't overinflate your importance in the scheme of things for LSU. We would rather beat Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss. I do think because of recruiting you have surpassed Arkansas, Florida and Miss State.

This is true but you haven't beaten a Bama team or a good Auburn team since we joined the SEC. That was why he said beating us was your most celebrated accomplishment since we joined.


And when y'all rushed the field after beating Ole Miss you made it clear that beating them was still a bigger deal to y'all than beating most teams.

We have beaten them 3 out of the last 4 years. Have beaten TCU, Wisconsin, Florida, ole miss and arkansas over that time period as well. The ole miss thing is a long time rivalry. My father hated ole miss more than any other team. I don't have as much issue with them, it all generational.

Well unlike most lsu fans I respect the ATM program despite our recent success. I think any sec road game win is a significant accomplishment. Our best win against ATM was against ATMs best team recently. Just happened to catch Jff on his worst game. That same season we laid an egg at ole miss. It happens. Any team can beat any team if you don't bring your a game in the sec.

I believe ATM will be the most improved team in the west. Chavis is a definite upgrade. He has a proven commodity and will make the defense better. And sumlin will always have dynamic offenses. Regardless of wins and losses this is a better team than a year ago. The scary thing is there is going to be a couple of really good potential top 20 teams based on talent finish with losing conference records in the west
